Take a look at the all-new 2024 Toyota Camry Hybrid for the European market.
The Camry is the latest Toyota model to receive the fifth generation of a hybrid drive with improved performance, greater efficiency, and more enjoyable driving.
The system uses a new bipolar lithium-ion battery with higher power and responsiveness. Key components of the powertrain, such as the transmission, electric motors, and inverter, have been redesigned to minimize internal losses and reduce mass and size. Combined with the proven 2.5L four-cylinder engine, the new system achieves a total power of 231 HP/170 kW (an increase of 6%), while recording lower average fuel consumption (5.1 l/100 km) and CO2 emissions (117 g/km) in the mixed WLTP cycle.
The new system delivers power more quickly, and the car accelerates better, providing a greater sense of control. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time has improved from 8.3 s to 7.9 s.
