Hello from New Zealand Sherri, I am a subscriber and I love watching your videos. First and foremost I love your very first point you have put in your website "I Love......."which is God and this wonderful world, and you love your husband and family. Just so lovely to have found a like-minded person. Please continue to stand firm in Him and your quilting videos. Blessings to you Sherri. Thelma
Thank you for sharing your quilting space and ideas with us! I am a self taught quilter and your tricks of the trade are so useful. Really appreciate you paying it forward to the quilting community. We need to keep this beautiful craft going so we can pass it down to the younger generations. Oh .... btw I just got your collection of clover hollow fat quarter bundle delivered today and can’t wait to mix it Corey Yoder sundrops!!! Blessings to you and yours!
Love the idea of writing down all of the works in progress. My list will be long but like you said revisiting the list will give you more incentive to try and get a few more done. Thanks for that idea.
Today is a GREAT day! I received my first ever purchased fat quarter bundle. How exciting is that? But it gets better it is Summer Sweet! 😍. I ordered it on line and when it was delivered today I couldn’t have been happier! Love all the fabric line, I am going to use it to make Lori Holts Farm Girl blocks! 💕
Just subscribed to your channel. Don't know why I haven't done it sooner. You have such a soothing voice! Great to see that even an experienced quilter has WIPs. Have been purchasing the Art Bin containers recently and love keeping my projects in them. Currently working on a pieced backing for what I'm calling my Stay At Home quilt. I have sewed some bigger houses but wanted a small house pattern and the download will be perfect. Thank you Sherri.
I usually make three quilts tops then I begin quilting them and I finish them. I’m afraid I won’t finish projects because I’ve been known to do that with other crafts like knitting. I was working on my third quilt top and I ran out of fabric, I ordered more but won’t be getting it for another three weeks so now I have WIP. I did realize I do like making different blocks, I didn’t realize this until I started the Little Miss Sawtooth quilt pattern, each star is different and I really enjoyed it. I’m going to begin doing that more now instead of racing through repetitive blocks. I love all the quilts that you show us and I’m going to start the little house quilt.
Great video! I am subscribed to your blog & have read all your organization posts, they are so helpful! Thanks for putting this into video format, getting a visual is helpful & inspiring. Would you do a video explaining how to pair fabric scale & quilt patterns? Also, what are your tips for choosing color? Thanks, Sherri!
Getting back to quilting after 20-years. . This was helpful in so many ways. I use pizza boxes from Amazon [14" square]. As I locate material and blocks from classes so long ago. I have been looking for the 'House' pattern too. 👍💜😎
Thank you, Sherri for all of your great ideas!! I signed up for 4 Blocks of the Month, so I feel like I could benefit greatly using your ideas. You and your daughter’s fabric lines have been so beautiful!! I love the village pattern that you are working on, I think it was one of the first patterns that I bought after learning how to quilt. 😍
Just subscribed to your channel and really enjoy your videos. I have just downloaded the free house quilt instructions. Thanks! Also have your new planner and see that you have incorporated many of the tips you present here. Just love it!
Thank you Sherri. This was awesome. You have inspired me to refreshing my way of keeping track of my works in progress. I am also in addition to my list going to take a photo of what I have completed so far of each project. Thanks again CJ :)
Thanks for this thought provoking video. The blog link doesn’t seem to be working, and I couldn’t find the right article by searching. (I suspect I wasn’t using the proper search words.)
Hi Sherri! Just printed out the village pattern. You mentioned you are using a flying geese ruler to make your roofs. What brand do you use? Just discovered you from watching the sewing room tour and love your sweet calm voice! One more thing. Do you use starch or just flatter or best press on the bias roofs? Thank you so much. I have subscribed to your channel😊
Hi Sherri, love your tips. Thank you. You mentioned a tracking sheet by? of projects you want to make but I don’t see it in the links. Is that something that is still available?
I tried the link for the maker valley list and it says 404 page not found so I think link might be broken. So I went to their website to have a look and can't find it there either
LOVE your ideas, tips and tricks on keeping works in progress organized. Sooo excited to implement them in my quilt room. A lot of the storage and labeling I’ve been trying to do. It’s good to know I’m not the only one that has more than one project going at a time, I though it was my ADD. ☺️ Love the wire mesh organizer. The file idea will be so helpful. What was the last sheet you said that helps to track projects for 2020 you were going to give us the link to? Couldn’t find it. Thanks so much for all your wonderful tips!!
I think pressing and using quality fabrics are the best tips. But starching your fabrics before cutting/sewing will eliminate nearly all of the "strings."

I subscribed to your channel recently and I’m trying to get caught up. Thank you for the great organization tips.
How would you suggest storing material for block of the month quilts or quilt kits? It’s so much material to store until you need it each month.
Love your videos! Where can I find the little house patterns? Thank you
Just found your channel. Really helpful tips. Love the UFO challenge. Thank you.

Hi. Are the Sunday Best helps still available? I would like to try these blocks and plan to buy the book..
Hi Sherri great video for a newbie like myself there are a lot of fantastic tips. Thank you for sharing.
Love these houses ! But I can’t get the free pattern ? HELP PLEASE ! 😊
Love these houses. But the pattern is not available anymore. How can I find it please. Thx.
I’m just finding this. Video and it seams the patter is no longer available online. Can you help? Enjoy your videos!!!

What is the plastic container with handle again from please?
Great tips! What is the flying geese ruler you are using for the Village quilt?
It's called the "Fit to Be Geese" ruler by Monique Dillard. The easiest way to find it is from her website: OpenGateQuilts.
Great topic
Little village houses pattern is not available, could you please be so kind to do it for us. Thanks.
The link for the "Village" pattern is now giving an error.

If you click "show more" under the description above you'll find the link to the works in progress sheet tracker. Thank you!
Sherri McConnell thank you!
How do you keep your blocks from becoming a stringy mess?
I think pressing and using quality fabrics are the best tips. But starching your fabrics before cutting/sewing will eliminate nearly all of the "strings."
Top 12 wips!!! Lol, I couln't handle that.
Just found you this weekend. Nice organization ideas. You might want to review and see how many times you say “um”. Probably over 100
Ditto what Susan Cryderman said.
