    Question why do the girls always have the low haircuts like the boys. Is that something from the colonizers days? Because you would think you would see more traditional African hair styles. But it's almost like it prohibited to be African.

    • @hawkins7000
      @hawkins7000 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It's for ease of maintenance

    • @theg4520
      @theg4520 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@hawkins7000 but there are plenty of other natural low maintenance African hair styles other than just cutting it the same way the boys cut there hair. That's got to be from the colonizers days. Because you see it in just about at every African school. The only way to tell them a part is that the girls wear dresses there is no self expression. It's like everything African about them gets prohibited including their language when in school it's kind of sad actually.

    • @Ghanadiaries
      @Ghanadiaries 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@theg4520I agree with you. Majority of us don't like our hair so low but in Ghana, it's a controversial discussion.
      Traditionally, the Akan queen mothers keep short hair, parents want the hair to be short .
      Lastly, they think by so doing, no child will be pressured to look for money for expensive hairdo.

If u don't see someone washing his/her hand in the video before eating doesn't mean the person didn't wash his/her hand.
