Nice modifier, I only wish if we wrap to objects together we could hook one end of the curve to one of the objects, so if that rotates the wrap starts twisting. If you have like 2 cylinder wrap them together and then rotate them so is starts twisting. That would be amazing.

Hey, glad you are finding it useful. I would love to add that feature however it would mean rebuilding the whole system from the ground up. I'll do some research and see if I can figure it out on the next update :)

Hey hey, unfortunately when I apply the modifier to my curve the guide rings are in the wrong orientation (even after applying my transforms). Any idea what might be causing this?

Hey sorry for the late reply. I hope you sorted it. If you are still having issues, could you please send me a .blend of what you are experiencing? The only thing I can think of is if the curve is parented to something else which doesn't have its transforms applied.

hello, in the newest version 1.36, how do we set it so only one single object is wrapped on the curve and not stretched around the target?

Hey, apologies for the late reply. Do you mean like a label on a bottle? You will want to disable "array" and "fit to curve" (fit to curve is a reintroduced setting in v1.37) to wrap a single object and not have it encompass the target mesh.

"Wrap Master" plugin is much better tbh.
Doesn't have custom mesh support tho.
What i don't like about this "WrapGen" is that it's not real wrappings, it's just "rings" around the object.

Fair Enough. They both have pros and cons. I find that Wrap Master produces very unrealistic results as it simply shrink wraps everything. It doesn't respect tension over concave areas of the mesh and is only good at singular cylindrical objects. WrapGen can wrap a a collection of objects and also has tension over concave areas.
I've been modeling professionally for close to a decade now and faking the realism of a singular physically accurate wrap with many "rings" with randomness is more than enough for 90% of assets. Wrap Master also is very limited as you said that it cant use custom geo, which ultimately is a dealbreaker for me personally No one wants to be locked into a preset. WrapGen is also much more versatile as you not only can create ropes/bindings etc but also assets such as tire tread, create labels on bottles etc.. Just my 2cents. They can both be used together in different situations.
