If you have an internavi then no, you cannot change to English, as far as im aware anyway, i have looked in to it and searched through it but never found anything. Thanks for the support buddy.

Yes it is possible, i did it before kinda by accident, i didn'tuse Googletranslate, and i uploaded all new music, up to 120 albums. Maybe i should make a video of how to do that.
Dp you know how to display the time. When i look in the settings my time is correct but i somt see kt on the navigation page.
Quite handy, altho my Honda Elysion one is a little different!

Just onto my second Honda with the internavi. Finally, thanks to this manged to change the clock (still don't get how you compute... adjusting hours amd minutes gave random results, but just got it close enough) but I finally managed to quieten the Japanese lady... and find a better screen than the Tokyo map into the bargain! (Black with time and date in white) Cheers for putting this up. Is there any way of getting more than one radio station in on it. (Can only get rte radio 1 🙄)

I’m having a full touch screen Gathers setup. Do you have any idea of the button layout for it? I tried what you did in the video but it did not work in mine. I need to change the time and I am unable to do that. Appreciate your help in advance.

Hey, well there's not much else I can say or help with, the video explains the process. Unless you are using a different model headunit.
@@GPTV2020 I'm able to get to the secret menu number 1. When I try getting to secret menu number 2 by pushing the menu button and holding it down, nothing happens. The options that come up in menu number 1 are exactly the same as your videos. I just cant get to the 2nd menu to get to the offset clock menu screen

I'm not sure about how any other version works to be honest. Maybe use Google translate to figure out what each button means, or just try all of them!
Hey great video. However my console design a Lil bit different but I think it should have worked just the same. I have a 2012 honda accord type S. Does the instructions apply just the same? I've trying a few times an nothing works. Need you help setting the time
To be honest im not sure if it is the same sequence or different for different models. It should be close to the same buttons, so if the buttons are the same then it should be around the same. Google translate helps a lot.

Look around a few forums and see if you can find any information on it. Thats what i do.

I've seen videos of people using camera translate on the mobile to read the Japanese menus. Some will have option to change language. I'll try on Jazz '11 import and let you know as dealer wants £130 for new unit.

ok so I have changed the clock lol will most probably swap it out to an english one eventually ,it is like the key fobs extortionate prices in uk but i got a couple off of yahoo in japan for £28 posted no import to pay thankfully and £40 to reprogram for the ignition ,alarm immobiliser etc so £68 in total instead of £250 each Yahoo auctions japan is just like ebay and well worth looking at.
Yeah i like Yahoo auctions it's very good. I like the headunit it has a big memory to save songs.
@@GPTV2020 yes the unit is very good just learning japanese to use it lmao don't really listen to radio or use sat nav so could just keep it ,i have 47 albums on the sc and it's not full yet so does have a monster memory.
Well i have 120 albums, so you only around half way through. You do get used to the buttons after a while, its not that i know what it says i am just used to the pattern of what to press.

Hi, I just acquired 2 days ago, a Vezel 2019 with Gathers head unit version VXM-197. I cant change the language and the dashcam (Gathers too) is displaying error... and not showing on the screen... Can you please help?

If it is internavi then yes it should be but the button layout may be different.

Hi, thanks for this. A friend in Russia is contacting me in the UK because I speak/read Japanese. She has exactly this Honda internavi, but she says she pressed something along the bottom and the clock on the bottom left has disappeared (e.g. you've got it showing @4:30 when you have the audio screen up). She showed me on video call and indeed there is nothing beside the 音質調整 button. We tried your secret menu 2 and set the time but that did not revive it either. Would you have any idea?
Hi eemm yes i think I came across this before while messing with my internavi, there is a button to display the clock as far as i can remember, i think it is just in the standard manu, id have to mess around with to find it again but tell her to just use Google translate to find what she's looking for.

That is strange. It should set. Unless you are have the same clock/satnav problem that a lot of honda cars are having. Honda know about a problem with their satnav systems in some of their cars, and its affecting random cars with the satnav system, so the satnav will not work correctly and the clock will not adjust. I don't know if honda are even going to fix the issues at all.

You can NOT change the language from Japanese. There is no way to change it.

Do you mean when you remove the key from the ignition, the internavi will stay on?? If yes then it sounds like someone wired the internavi directly to the battery bypassing the ignition. You need to get an auto electrician to rewire it to the ignition.

Do you know how to turn the navigation off? I keep getting random Japanese warnings from it.
There are a couple of ways to help, you can cancel the trip so it wont keep telling you to turn left or right. Or lower the volume of the voice speaking to you, i remember showing how to do that in one of my videos.
I haven't actually looked in to turning it off completely, I've never needed to. But you can use Google translate to navigate your way through the menus and possibly turn it off. I'll probably make a video on it.

Did you adjust the knobb, on the speedo clocks? Turn it all the way clockwise. But if that is not working there are settings for the camera in the secret menus.

Do you mean import tax?? Its very expensive in Ireland, we pay 25 percent of the book value of the car, so if a car is 10k euro we pay around 2500 euro just to get in in to the country, then road tax and insurance is expensive, if you have a 2.0 petrol car the road tax before june 2008 is 710 euro or my 2.2 prelude is 955 euro every year on road tax but after june 2008 its based on co2 emissions.
So im honda stream is 1.8 2008 390 euro road tax but a 2007 would be 650 euro because it is base on engine size before 2008. And then car insurance is more expensive or harder to get on an import.
