I enjoyed playing the instrumental part but still having trouble singing at the same time. I'm sometimes OK singing and playing slower songs. A big thank you, Kathryn.
It can be tough to put it all together! Go slow - take it in small chunks. It can be helpful to lean on those word anchors - where the chord lines up with the downbeat. And it can also be helpful to isolate a small section - and see what other words line up with other beats/strokes. You got this!
Love it! You're so welcome. And yes, you can do it! Start with the simple downstrokes on beat 1, and then you can level up to a more complex strumming pattern when you're ready. Cheers!
during the chorus where there is not time for a full strumming pattern between chord changes, at " (C)ever (G)seen the (Am)rain (G)" how do i strum properly there? please i keep fumbling at that part
Hi Cassifaffe - yes I totally get that! You can either just do a simple downstroke for each chord, or you could do one time through the D DU pattern, 1x per chord. Let me know if that makes sense! I also have a full tutorial of this as well th-cam.com/video/XXzV8kjM8LI/w-d-xo.html Let me know if you have any other questions! 😊
At some point when you are enjoying wine time with friends, play the first part of this video at half speed. I did by mistake and had a LOL moment. Definitely provides wine time vibe.
Haha, it's true! Although, truthfully I don't drink wine too much anymore, so I am thinking about a slight name change.... Anyway, happy you found me here!
Hard for me to focus on the songs because you are too beautiful! Your facial expressions while singing, especially when you scrunch your nose, are just adorable! I can't put my finger on it, but you remind of someone....great channel and great performances.
I love the way you did the first song.
I learned it super fast.
You are great
Awesome!! And thank you so much 😊
Enjoyed playing this outside on the deck, even though I didn't know the song. Katheryn always sounds like an angel and makes learning fun! Cheers 🥂
