Glad you got one to review, Panda crew too. I've been really positive about this device since March '23 and got my first review unit "ever" from @Abxylute back in April '23 and I've literally put hundreds of hours into testing and just enjoying gaming via this handheld. I mostly stream from my Minisforum HX80g and its been great. In fact I get more enjoyment from this setup than any of my dedicated handhelds because my life isn't ruled by battery life or tweaking settings to get a balance of fps and fidelity. Also just realised how many videos I've made for this handheld this year! 😅
Yes! 100% agree. I love the ABXYLute! Great experience especially for the price. Always glad to see some other dweebs giving it some love. Check what I did with the blue stick 😉
I was surprised by how much streaming i did last year with gamepass. A lot of hate was directed towards these streaming handhelds but honestly llits fantastic with these larger screens
Never really got warm with it - ergonomics, performance etc. were not comparable to a gcloud (sure, it has a different pricing, but I was not willing to compromise). Especially now were you can easily get an open box gcloud for 200 or less
🎮Great review as always! I almost forgot about this device. It's nice that there is competition for the G Cloud, since that price is always just silly. 🕹️ I'm definitely going to check out more of your fav Monster Hunter games. They looked ABXYlutely awesome on that screen. 👍
I have one and it's a decent little device for streaming, but I ended up switching to Steam Deck just because the analogue sticks on the Abxylute are TERRIBLE. I updated them, used the key linker software, added stick caps etc. Nope, the sticks were just awful. Shame, great device otherwise.
Honestly loved the idea of it and bought one, unfortunately even though my phone and pc play clean video at 120fps the abyxlute struggles to even be smooth and consistsnt :/
They missed a trick not making the buttons individually lit. Kts a shame because you could light them up to coordinate with Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo buttons depending whatbyou are playing
@RetroBreezeYT this hurts my heart. maybe i save up some extra £'s and get an Odin 2? I was getting the PS Portal first, but it's very limited it what it's capable of.
I find my Abxylute to be too slow to play regularly. It runs terribly and just waiting for it to catch up with what I've selected and then finally boot up Xbox streaming or something, is far too long. I could have played something else for 5 or 6 minutes by the time I'm finally in the app and able to select a game to play.
I m not sure which one to buy, ABXYlute or the odin 2. recently I stream using my steam link a lot. n i m just playing with my android phone and gamesir controller. But now I want a dedicated handheld for streaming. But I m not sure if big screen is a huge deal or not in game streaming. Should I get bigger screen with ABXYlute or get better performance with Odin 2. so at least i can play my favourite PS2 games if I m outside and doesn't have any internet connection. So, I still undecided. But yeah. just using my android phone to stream, and even I am using S21 plus, it still feels too small for modern PC. because of the tall aspect ratio. :/
There's no comparison whatsoever between the ABXYlute and Odin 2. If you have the money, it's Odin 2 every single time. Better screen (even though smaller), amazing performance, amazing controls, better LEDs, etc. Every single time.
It's a shame Abxylute didn't pony up for a slightly better CPU or a bit more RAM... truth is, as much as we may say it's all "cloud," many of us want a device exactly like this for emulation (which I'll be doing with it, despite itself!).
Do you think I'm ABXYlutely insane for loving this handheld so much?
I completely agree young lad. Mine just shipped. As I'm a GeForce Now Founder this device meets my single use case. Good review lad.

Check what I did with the blue stick 😉
Oh wow, overkill! Why not just buy a black cap and replace it 😂 I appreciate the DIY though!
Just ordered my lad. Thanks kid.
Just got one my new fav toy for xbox xcloud gaming flawlessly
Sounds like a perfect fit for ps1 and below with the perfect size screen of 7 inch
Absolutely!
I was surprised by how much streaming i did last year with gamepass. A lot of hate was directed towards these streaming handhelds but honestly llits fantastic with these larger screens
Yeah absolutely. Switch, Deck and this have convinced me that 7" is my favourite screen size. Waiting for a powerful android handheld at this size!
I get mine on Monday cant wait

I ended up going with the gcloud but this looks good too.
I also want the x28 but not at $200 CAD
I love the X28, but it has some really bad flaws too 😅

not sure a purpose built streaming device would have tiny sticks and wifi 5 for such a high price
Did you download the phone app to use boosteroid? Does it work diagonally when playing the games? Thanks
Honestly loved the idea of it and bought one, unfortunately even though my phone and pc play clean video at 120fps the abyxlute struggles to even be smooth and consistsnt :/
PS Portal or Ordin 2, or this for streaming games? (Your personal opinion) please 😊
You can't really compare those two. If you ever think you'll want to do anything other than playstation streaming, then Odin 2 for sure.
They missed a trick not making the buttons individually lit. Kts a shame because you could light them up to coordinate with Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo buttons depending whatbyou are playing
Are you saying it isn't worth getting for playing first person shooter games?
Yeah it's not the best for FPS.

Can you run steam on this ? Or do you have to still connect this device to steam?
You'll need to stream from a PC running Steam using Steam Link or Moonlight
7:50 what game is that? thx
Sonic Battle GBA

@@RetroBreezeYT thanks for the reply man. 👍
what game was that at the beginning with the blocks
Looked like dragon quest builders 2

Where did you get the thumb sticks from?
Skull & Co
Am I able to play Resident Evil Village on it through Steam app?
Yep
@@RetroBreezeYT thank you.
Is it just me or is the d-pad positioned way too close to the edge of the screen?
Is there a uk supplier?
I'd just recommend buying from the official site. Not sure if there are any third party sellers!
streaming no thank Wi-Fi at work is horrible
I feel this so bad
Everything ps portal should be
I think I agree!
Nope. The Portal is a Portal to the PS4/PS5 nothing more or less. People don’t understand that.
