I came to the comments to see who would mention this. Chianti has a hard "kuh" sound, so that's one of the easier ways to remember the difference between c and ch.

just as a gentle FYI: it's pronounced "barketta"... "C+H" in italian is how we make the hard "K" sound.. when it doesn't ahve the "H" after the "C".. then it's a soft c sound.. espeically after the letters I & E.. but that's too complex to explain. Just know that when you say "Barcetta" like you did.. it sounds like something rotten. You pronounce "barchetta" as "barketta"...you're welcome.
