Brown, Rice, Worthy, Watson, Hardman, Ross are my six. If we go 7 WRs then Moore is the 7th. Toney is out. A kicker and a center😅? Love both but im always like meh about those signings. Good thing i dont make the decisions. If i was GM i would never pay the unglamourous positions big contracts😅
@@inkarceration4069 i get that its stupid. But the same way teams dont wanna pay Running backs? Thats how i feel about kickers, centers, safetys lol. Just one of those positions i take for granted. Maybe because i grew up playing madden and never kicked field goals
They give Sneed some money off either their contracts he stays ... Funny they overpay centers and kickers but don't pay their best corners and wide receivers... No NFLS best corners and receivers
Hard to see our WR woes but the blame is on Veach for continuing to go after small receivers. Mahomes has to feel the pain not having big bodies to throw to.
You're happy for Humphey, "he got his bag" -- yeah. And because of him and Jones and a few others, there's little left to build a team. The greed in this league is unprecedented.
I want to see FAU out there with the first team. When Jones is in the middle and Karloftis is on the end opposite FAU, then what happens when he is singled up on the teams second best tackle?
The problem with rationalizing poor play by doesn't matter ,never have all these backups on the field excuse is they were playing backups no starters on bears. My take we are weak in backup compared to Bears, and Lions. I am not sure why. Perhaps to much preseason and off season hype. Hope not a problem of to much success and less intensity than we have seen in the past. Maybe coaches know. Don't remember when Andy Reid team lost all preseason games. Do you know when it last occurred Cole?
The answer is so much easier than you think. Chris oledoken. It's time we moved on from him. Book played much better and Buchelle was better than all of them.
If we're going to sign or trade for anyone, it should be on the defensive line. FAU is failing. I understand he's young and that you can maybe make up excuses for why he's not making plays - but the fact of the matter is he was our 1st round pick just a year ago and has yet to show any kind of upside. If anything, he's regressed, seeing how he barely affects plays in preseason for multiple consecutive games up against the backups' backups. Then, the next group to go get a guy for is O-line. I believe our starters are collectively the best in the league, but the second string is ugly AF. They have a lot of projects on there currently, and none of them are ready to step in if asked. Wanya is the best option as a backup tackle, and he has yet to show much upside (just like FAU). That draft class was the worst in years, outside of Rice. Then there's the CB room and RB room. I see those two rooms at about the same type of troubles. We got our guys at the top with Pacheco and McDuffie, but outside of them, we don't have anybody. Yeah, Carson Steele had a good preseason - we'll see how he does against the real competition. Watson, Williams, and Johnson have largely been underwhelming, but health has really kept them from becoming a cohesive group as of yet. I wouldn't say we need to go get a guy for those groups, but it's certainly something to watch out for as we progress through the season. My confidence level right now for each position group: QB - duh 100/10 RB - 7.5/10 WR - 8.1/10 TE - 8.5/10 (it's Kelce, and then everyone else) O-Line - 7/10 D-Line - 6/10 LB - 8/10 CB - 7.1/10 Safety - 8.5/10 S/T - 10/10 We're rough in the trenches, defensive and offensive backfields, and especially depth. Those are our problems.
I do know this. Marty Schottenheimer is smiling up in heaven watching Carson Steele. Give him 200 carries (not gonna happen) but he'd easily top 1000 yards and 10 TD's as a rookie. FB or not on the depth chart, kid has a drag race motor with tank for a body.
Cole went all preseason talking these guys up and now after it’s over, it seems like every position he’s saying maybe we should look for a veteran to come in. Chiefs need to roll with who they got and come together as a team. That’s what has been missing all preseason.
Right now it's basically the same receiving core as last year except Worthy instead of MVS until Hollywood gets healthy so you know NICO is loved by coaches but I like Ross better! It's going to be a lot of Rice Worthy and Watson till Hollywood comes back and if skyy makes it for kick offs he'll be number 4 to start the season but I bet Toney will make it and Ross to practice squad.
Will this be the 2023 season all over again? I would definitely bring in a veteran for the CB spot. I see McCole Hardman. Definitely a good back up for Hollywood.
I think we need to find a way to keep Justyn Ross. I think He'll be a really good weapon short yardage/Red Zone and having a bigger body receiver would be very good to have.
Yeah, I was worried about how they looked, but when you have a bunch of 60-level guys out there together, but when they're playing with 85+level guys, their games are elevated and their deficiencies are covered.
I think Veach had his eye on some receivers (JSN, Quentin Johnston, Zay Flowers), but the ones we wanted got picked up by the other teams and we probably couldn't offer much for a trade up. Nolan Smith (drafted by Eagles, but he was injured in his last year at Georgia) was almost in our reach too before they snatched him up for pick 30.
IDK man, I think Coach Reid should try Jaden Hicks out as a cornerback and see how he develops there. That dude has performed exceptionally well in every preseason game. I wonder if Andy or Spags has entertained that thought at all. He's been consistent at Safety, no reason to believe he couldn't do the same thing at Corner. Just a thought yo.
15.4mill per year for Creed including this year, which is part of the contract. Sounds a hair less crazy but stilo awesome for him. I miss Sneed :( can Hicks just take CB2? Lol Steele has actual potential. Excited to see him develop in the coming years if he keeps it up. Great yards after contact. Will potentially become more explosive through nfl training. Hardman over Toney.
Justynn Ross should be a wide reciever. We need a big body high jumping receiver. Odell Beckham , Randy Moss. Not who is the fastest but who is the biggest and fastes
It’s preseason nothing more nothing less. Starters getting ramped back up to playing, potentials trying to show their skills. I think the big hole for every team is the new kickoff rule. It’s fun to watch kickoff again. Going to make it interesting this season.
Doesn't look like FAU has improved despite all the off-season workouts with Karlaftis & Tamba Hali. At least it seems like he's putting in the effort to improve, but that doesn't mean much if it isn't improving your in-game performance. IDK what to do with him this season, but since BJ Thompson had that medical scare early on & hasn't been cleared to play, I'm thinking Chiefs will keep FAU on the 53-man roster. However, they need to find a replacement in next year's draft or sign one from FA if we have enough salary space to do so. I think Veach made a good move to stay-put on Omenihu while he recovers after seeing FAU's performance so far. Would be nice to pay the guy once he comes back from recovery and wrecks some havoc, but I think another team will probably offer him more if he does go off this season. I thought Kelvin Joseph looked good outside of the holding penalties, which those will get cleaned up with more playing time & coaching. Sneed was doing the same thing as well early on and we know how well he turned out to be once those were cleaned up! We got several guys to rotate around for the CB2 spot regardless, so I think we're fine. Gonna be a sloppy secondary to start the season though I imagine.
You could have signed both Gay and Sneed, and let Bolton walk (after his rookie deal) with Drue taking over the mike like we did for half of the season.. We definitely well overpaid Butker & Creed compared to market value.
I dont want Steele returning kickoffs or punts. He is RB2 at this point. Ive been begging for a powerback for 3 years. None of our guys can push people. Steele sure can. I've been done with CEH for 2 years. Bye. Prince is too slow, too indecisive, and runs too upright. Bye. Keep Ingram, see what Jet is up to, or bring in someone for RB3.
The only reason Steele won't be rb2 (if ceh healthy) is his knowledge of the playbook. If ceh doesn't get healthy he's rb2 with pap getting huge workloads. I won't be surprised if later in the year he gets a lot more touches, being fresh and smashing defenses that are beat up.
I have been saying it I will say it again. Trading sneed was a big mistake. Now they have to go get a really good veteran Cornerback. WRs this year had really steeped up we need someone good CB
It’s cruel to keep adding games to the schedule without increasing the numbers of players a team can carry on their roster. But you know, player safety, and all that.
I’m glad that Patrick Mahomes and Creed Humphrey are still together for another 4 years. He’s the best Center in the league. Trey Smith is probably next it’s been talked about from other media that he doesn’t want top guard money but top 10. If he takes a deal similar to Creed Humphrey it could more likely that they stay together and continues to be a Chief. Keep the band together in my opinion.
FAU will be good i believe. ive seen several plays to where theyve been having him drop in coverage. i still think that they are seeing his best fit for the defense or trying to demand him to be more than a pass rusher

We gave up Sneed for a 3rd and 18 mil in cap room. A far cry from nothing.
I also a think CEH will come through just will take time and what he’s going through is crazy scary prayers for him tho🙌🏾
Let’s go Cole good live stream keep up the grind!!
I think the biggest concerns rn are cornerback and d end
Brown
Worthy
Rice
Watson
Moore
Ross
Hardmen
Let it ride " not like Russell Wilson " lol 😂
Really happy about Creed and Butker signings.
A kicker and a center😅? Love both but im always like meh about those signings. Good thing i dont make the decisions. If i was GM i would never pay the unglamourous positions big contracts😅
@carbon.the.christ5626 then our team would suck. Butker literally carried the team last year
@@inkarceration4069 i get that its stupid. But the same way teams dont wanna pay Running backs? Thats how i feel about kickers, centers, safetys lol. Just one of those positions i take for granted. Maybe because i grew up playing madden and never kicked field goals
@@carbon.the.christ5626 Welp, that's why you aren't a GM.
They give Sneed some money off either their contracts he stays ... Funny they overpay centers and kickers but don't pay their best corners and wide receivers... No NFLS best corners and receivers
Agree with your stand outs.
Having Skyy make the 53 is ludicrous. He was terrible ever since he enter the league.
If he makes it over Kadarius idk what we’re doing
Was looking for content and found L'Jarius Sneed on the Pivot Podcast. Powerful story. Hope Rashee can leave that other stuff behind too.
Hard to see our WR woes but the blame is on Veach for continuing to go after small receivers. Mahomes has to feel the pain not having big bodies to throw to.
Totally agree! Pacheco, Steele, Prince or a VET. CEH is DONE! Send him packing! Keep an extra WR in CEH's place,
I saw the Juarez’s on the news today and you should do a video about them
You're happy for Humphey, "he got his bag" -- yeah. And because of him and Jones and a few others, there's little left to build a team. The greed in this league is unprecedented.
I want to see FAU out there with the first team. When Jones is in the middle and Karloftis is on the end opposite FAU, then what happens when he is singled up on the teams second best tackle?
He already can't win single against 3rd and 4th string tackles.
My confidence level right now for each position group:
QB - duh 100/10
RB - 7.5/10
WR - 8.1/10
TE - 8.5/10 (it's Kelce, and then everyone else)
O-Line - 7/10
D-Line - 6/10
LB - 8/10
CB - 7.1/10
Safety - 8.5/10
S/T - 10/10
We're rough in the trenches, defensive and offensive backfields, and especially depth. Those are our problems.
Does anybody know where I can get one those black "Kansas City" T-shirts Cole has worn a couple of times?
@@GeorgeWashington-x4n I'm Google lensing it! Will let you know if I find anything

Thank you, I really want to buy a couple of those.
WR room, Brown, Worthy, Rice, Watson, Hardman, Ross, and Washington...Chiefs should look at Sheets for the taxi squad...
I'm imagining a Steele-Pop run with Steele plowing through the line to open a path and Pacheco blasting past
I want to see Ross make this roster, he’s a great end zone threat and he was getting open, just wasn’t seen
lol I read it really fast and thought it said hemp needed...
Put fua on practice team and find a a legitimate edge rusher.
Probably need a backup left tackle and vet corner.
Chiefs be waving ✌️✌️to Trey smith and Nick Bolton
I do know this. Marty Schottenheimer is smiling up in heaven watching Carson Steele. Give him 200 carries (not gonna happen) but he'd easily top 1000 yards and 10 TD's as a rookie. FB or not on the depth chart, kid has a drag race motor with tank for a body.
Cole went all preseason talking these guys up and now after it’s over, it seems like every position he’s saying maybe we should look for a veteran to come in. Chiefs need to roll with who they got and come together as a team. That’s what has been missing all preseason.
In Mahomes we trust!
Cole where did you get that KC shirt your sporting?
Yeah, I was worried about how they looked, but when you have a bunch of 60-level guys out there together, but when they're playing with 85+level guys, their games are elevated and their deficiencies are covered.
On CBs, they rested 3 cornerbacks last night...
Also, why do other teams backup offensive lines look much better than ours? I think we grab 1-3 depth offensive linemen from other teams, honestly.
Hopefully he get those hikes up!!
Not sure what Veach was smoking when he drafted 97
I think Veach had his eye on some receivers (JSN, Quentin Johnston, Zay Flowers), but the ones we wanted got picked up by the other teams and we probably couldn't offer much for a trade up. Nolan Smith (drafted by Eagles, but he was injured in his last year at Georgia) was almost in our reach too before they snatched him up for pick 30.
Concerned about our pass rush. CB is lil scary but someone will step up later…Watson, Joseph, and Nazee will get better over time
IDK man, I think Coach Reid should try Jaden Hicks out as a cornerback and see how he develops there. That dude has performed exceptionally well in every preseason game. I wonder if Andy or Spags has entertained that thought at all. He's been consistent at Safety, no reason to believe he couldn't do the same thing at Corner. Just a thought yo.
Andy has some hard talking to guys who played yesterday but it's the chiefs and only the best will get through
Brown
Rice
Worthy
Watson
Hardman
Moore
Toney
In order aswell 💯 LFG!!!
15.4mill per year for Creed including this year, which is part of the contract. Sounds a hair less crazy but stilo awesome for him.
I miss Sneed :( can Hicks just take CB2? Lol
Steele has actual potential. Excited to see him develop in the coming years if he keeps it up. Great yards after contact. Will potentially become more explosive through nfl training.
Hardman over Toney.
The Chiefs are a WR1, left tackle, and maybe a DB away from going 20-0. That's scary to think about.
We should’ve went after Gilmore
KT needs to go
Justynn Ross should be a wide reciever. We need a big body high jumping receiver. Odell Beckham , Randy Moss. Not who is the fastest but who is the biggest and fastes
I think Watson is just rusty . He will be fine. My main concern is the defensive line depth at defensive tackle.
It’s preseason nothing more nothing less. Starters getting ramped back up to playing, potentials trying to show their skills. I think the big hole for every team is the new kickoff rule. It’s fun to watch kickoff again. Going to make it interesting this season.
This season might be one of those, whoever touches the ball last wins. This offense is gonna need to score 35 points per game.
We definitely well overpaid Butker & Creed compared to market value.
how bout those CHIEFS, This is great! Let's be friends and have fun together!
When do the chiefs usually make their cuts? Is it the day of cut day, or the day before?
Not understanding your point on the running backs! I clearly see this as a strength of the team!
They need to keep Justyn Ross. He is unique in build and ability.
Biggest concerns for me
CB
DE
RB
It’s cruel to keep adding games to the schedule without increasing the numbers of players a team can carry on their roster. But you know, player safety, and all that.
Bring someone in
All the people crying about Sneed being gone... it was pretty much impossible to sign him and we'll be fine.
Justyn ross got to make the roster
Not sure how much it will matter but Nick Bolton and Trey Smith have the same agent I wonder if that speeds up getting both signed
Would be crazy to not have Carson Wentz as the backup.
FAU will be good i believe. ive seen several plays to where theyve been having him drop in coverage. i still think that they are seeing his best fit for the defense or trying to demand him to be more than a pass rusher
