    Yes, quite a family indeed. It's an honor for me to present the videos. We're all so busy these days, pressed for time. Great lessons to be learned I think when we slow down and LISTEN to those who have gone ahead of us and paved the way

    Having grown up about fifty miles from Wyoming, Il this indeed a treat. My great grandfather's farm had been a small test site for John Deere Equipment. The farm was located outside of East Moline, Illinois. Unfortunately I did not record many of the stories my grandfather told about the testing. Our local John Deere Dealer was Thede's. They also sold Maytag washing machines. I have been interested in the auction business for many years. Thanks for what you do for ag.

    Thanks for your note. Cool about your great grandfather having a test site for Deere way back when. Also cool about your old dealer selling Maytag washing machines along with farm equipment. My great grandfather left his blacksmith shop in 1920 and became a dealer in little Rolla, ND. Think they sold automobiles & maybe bicycles too :-)
