I've been calling "let's all stack backsite B" (or something equally ridiculous) every time we lose an eco after that legendary coaching session, and so far my team has listened to my call 15/15 times. In silver-gold elo.

As an autistic person, watching you explain errors in communication is so interesting for me not only as a tool in Valorant but also as something to be mindful of on a daily basis... This is so educational and I think most people don't really expect strangers to be so collaborative by just communicating and asking for help. Thank you so much Wooj
I had a game last week where we ended up 3-9 but no one in my team was blaming each other. When we started winning the rounds, we'd do some small compliments and hype up some clutches. That game ended up a W and the jett went from bottom frag 12 kills or so to heckin 39 kills in the end. I think just being positive is just really a good buff to the team.
I've said this for a long time, the way people comm is so important to the vibe on the team, and the vibe on the team directly affects how teammates will play. I'm a diamond Omen main and I was playing yesterday on ascent, had a duo on my team where the girl was the female equivalent of this Jett and her Sova was a yes man, the amount of times she called "Omen can you actually smoke" when she wasn't comming anything that would actually have me smoke what she was asking for, every time she screamed "SMOKE" down the mic I literally threw random ass smokes on A site, when had she just said "Omen can you smoke main if they're here, i'll comm it" she would have had perfect smokes in seconds every time, long story short; don't be a dickhead and then expect people to not treat you like one.
I love this VOD so much because that's exactly all the things I'm trying to get used to do right now. Not only because it's free rr, but because it makes Valorant way more fun for me and for my teammates
I'm a very casual player who basically doesn't play this game outside of with a few friends in unrated, and am not very interested in improving since this kind of super competitive coordination oriented shooter just ends up being exhausting at the end of the day if I'm taking it very seriously. However, you're just too entertaining to pass up and honestly may make me start trying to pay even just a little more attention in the unrated games I do play every now and then. That's more than anyone else has ever gotten out of me, so even if it's only a bit of a mindset change, thanks for all the knowledge you drop on us Hooj, you're the best!

I was bronze then hardstuck gold for 50 games then hardstuck plat for 200 games then hardstuck diamond for 300 games (this was all in the matter of 1 and a half acts) then ive been hardstuck ascendant for 500 games (3 acts in a row now) I just cant seem to hit immortal lmao even after watching all the coaching videos daily , all movement guides , aimlabsing daily working on comms... its tough out here (peak asc 3 99rr)

Angel's ego isn't a bad thing and here's why: The guy is an Egoist which is actually a way to reach high in competition. Believing so much in yourself like this can achieve goals. BUT you have to control it, understand your disposition before you speak to anyone. Flame when the mic is off. Understand where you stand in the game (are YOU playing well?) before understanding your teammates. Sometimes when I'm on breach I'll make a perfect stun but my teammates won't shoot back. That means the chemistry isn't enough to win the round. At that point I devour the player I'm initiating for, which means using them for my own gain (e.g not committing if the guy doesn't play for refrag, now droning for me). You can say to YOURSELF the most degrading thing about your teammates BUT be a realist about it. You can even be nice while you do it, "Chamber I'm gonna stun for you 'here', its a free kill" or "Good pick chamber" while he's overcooking into enemy spawn. My understanding is there was potential chemistry between angel and his teammates. But even an EGOist would be in best interest to produce results, to keep getting OP buys. He actually has microphones in his lobby trying to work together. A true EGOist would feel in control of this situation (no remarks, no pinpointing etc) and be dropping 30 kills even if "Reyna can't do this" or "Omen can't flash that properly". If Angel focused on himself more, he would be carrying that lobby. It doesn't need anymore energy to understand you are the best, so why make a big deal out of it. SHOW YOU ARE THE BEST right in front of them.
That’s not called ego that’s called being an insecure piece that only focuses on mistakes happening outside of their control cause improving yourself is harder and less convenient. That bluelock bullshit doesn’t apply to people who can’t hold a mouse, know nothing about the game and don’t have enough hours. It might matter for Demon1, but not for a low elo clown

I think it’s fine to ask for smokes in certain spots, especially if you’re going for early aggression and want to take a certain part of the map.

I think he means just call locations rather than throwing a ping bc they clutter really easy and if you ping too many times it gets locked for a bit
