Thank you for putting these out there. Trying to test and tweak at launch is so painful, so it's always super helpful to have a dedicated CPU vs. CPU player putting in the work to give us a solid place to start. Appreciate the time and effort you put in to this.
What exactly do you do? I do rebuilds and finding it impossible to get a good record… do you go in game and sim play by play? Or just sim through the season? I get to the playoffs as well and can’t make it past the 1st/2nd round lol. I tried going in the game and play by play sim and the games were like 14-10 and then I had a game where it was 0-0😢
Great work bro and glad you are back. Sliders are absolutely Maddening., no pun intended. We have to do this dance every year and then they patch the game. Repeat the dance. I miss the old days where we could play a franchise out of the box and play all through the cycle. You will be reworking these sliders when they inevitably patch the game again. But thanks for your hard work. I know I've been working for what seems like forever on this and College Football and am never satisfied. You fix one part, it breaks another. Fix sacks and interceptions, offense runs hog wild. Fix the crazy offense, and the sacks and INTS return. And then the dreaded HB SCREEN SACK. If you have a fix for that, you are a legend. Thanks for being here and fighting the good fight.
Thanks! Sliders are always a pain to work with for sure! The screen glitch seemed to fix itself when I turned on intentional grounding. No idea why that was effecting things but when I did I noticed them getting the ball out sooner on them.

Okay, so fun fact, the player sliders will still effect the cpu vs cpu games because technically there is always a player "side". You said that you were having a hard time getting your QB to have realistic stats, this is probably the reason. This was the way it was in the past few maddens, i'm just assuming it is the same in 25. Maybe this info can be helpful for future slider sets!
Ive only done a few tests but QBs are still insane. Currently watching Cards vs Bears and Caleb is at like 90-95% completion and Murray is at 100% 3QR in

@@qKale I personally have never seen consistent games THAT high but I have seen games with mid 80s. I almost released the set with pass reaction and pass coverage turned to 65 but that led to too many 14-10 games. Could try that to see if it helps!
Ive got sliders also and got over 150 games tested on. one thing ive noticed is a resent patch made my Passing yards per game sky rocket of 70+ more yards. i had it that games stats were 230 Passing yards per game and 80 rushing per game with 50-60 sacks and 14-18 ints per season
I have QB accuracy at 20 and WR catching at 30 for both CPU and user. Qbs accuracy slider doesn't affect completion percentage, it affects ball placement and you get a good bit of off target back shoulder throws instead of out front of the receiver. The settings I have make it harder for receivers to make contested catches unless you have a good receiver and when the ball placement is off the receivers are less likely to make the catch if they have to adjust their body due to inaccurate ball placement or a contested catch. I also have defensive coverage, reaction time, and tackling at 85 for both CPU and player. And I use "sim Gamings" auto subs and penalty settings as well as setting speed parity scale to 76. There is still some coverage issues because defense just is not great on this game but these settings made it a lot better. Offense is not so overpowered most games I've played, passing yards are under 320 and CPU is running the ball about 20 times a game, some more and some less depending on the team Question for everyone or anyone... I have my pre snap menu set to the on position but at the line when I press X to call an audible.. nothing happens. Has anyone else encountered this problem or know how to fix it???
I used the QB Accuracy at 20 and WR catching at 30 as well as your coverage/reaction and tackling at 85 and my games are much more realistic .. total scores under 70 points finally!! hate the ball drop animations though some of those i couldve caught myself lol make them more varied EA!!! hate seeing a easily catchable ball dropped when it was right in their hands just feels fake but gotta do that to limit completions i guess.. i might turn down qb accuracy even more :/ Anyway thanks :)
@@therwkgod I agree about the drops. What I did was turn up the QB accuracy to 30 for both user and CPU to help with the drops and then to counter that I upped the play recognition, coverage and tackling to 95. You just have to keep adjusting till you like it. Just remember that for every adjustment you make it's going to affect some other aspect as well, so you have to counter adjust to keep balance
I also tested passing type. Only difference between them is classic throw's a lot of bullets but on a positive, not a lot of deep shots like with the others. The others really just seem to be better passing animations and thats it. None of them change QB accuracy or passing.
Wouldn’t them not throwing deep shots be a negative? Who wants to watch the cpu throw nothing but check downs to the TE and RB the whole game. Them taking shots down field should be a good thing
Yo love the video, I am running an RPG NFL league and it's entirely CPU v CPU. My slider set wasn't far off from yours. One side note, with the accel clock set at 13, did you run into any problems with teams not getting the play off in time due to motioning players too slowly?

Thanks for these sliders! Appreciate all your efforts. This may be a dumb question since the m fairly new to CPU/CPU…..if coach mode was on could you just call the plays, not play, just call plays? Sometimes I would have called different plays. Maybe this makes it no longer CPU/CPU?
@@Troy1998 you can do that but it doesn’t work the way you would hope. It makes your QB just do the drop back and just stand there which leads to a lot of sacks. On defense it takes away a defender because they sort of just stay engaged on the block and don’t try anything
Will this affect the sim stats? Because i can't stand these insane passing numbers. I know they wanted more interceptions but i shouldn't have 8 QBs finishing with 20+ picks at the end of the season. Patrick Mahomes shouldn't break the touchdown record every season, or i have 75% percent or more of my leagues QBs finishing with 350 to 400 completions a season. Just had 1 season finish where Anthony Richardson finished with 4500 yards, 380 completions, 34 touchdowns, 22 picks, and 74% completions. I wish they could put it back to how it was before the last update. Those stats where much more realistic even if the inteception numbers were lower
Hi all, hope someone can help? Im not a regular gamer and this is my first ever madden Absolutely love CBGaming’s vids - they have helped me with pretty much everything - so thank you creator! But i cant find some of the sliders in the vids (for example, regression sliders in franchise mode)… I think this is bc I have a PS4 or bc I dont have the deluxe version of the game… but I also cant find any confirmation online of the differences between ps4 & ps5 as well as deluxe Does anyone know if that is the issues I am having? Thanks!
Hey! Glad my videos have helped you! From what I understand, Madden didn’t put any of the new stuff in PS4 games and things like the regression sliders and things like that were only added to the new consoles.
Madden this year is like they want all offense and no defense. Sliders, and ratings dont matter. Its all media, scenarios, and gameplan determine how the game plays. Ive tested 20+ hours of 30 for any thing offense and 80 for any thing defense and it didnt matter. QBs still were 75+ % I just dont know this year. Im about to shelve it and I really dont want to, but CFB 25 is the absolute GOAT!
had to put everybody at 99 ovr just so the defense would do their job. I think the game is truly broken because no matter what defense you use, no matter the rating, the offense will average 300+ yards and you'll end up with a bottom 5 defense for no reason
Instead of looking at sliders for QB-play.. might it be an idea to lower ratings for QBs. I think we can all say Mahomes is the best QB in the league. Make his overall a max of 90 or what ever the percentage is you guys are looking for?

i didn’t like my past sliders to a point i made a madden player database on docs for every team instead of playing so glad to be back!

@@qKale 24 WAS PATCHED TO BE DECENT, BUT CFB 25 RELEASED AS STRAIGHT ARCADE AND 25 IS COPY PASTE CFB 25

Take it from me. A few sliders are not working in franchise including QBA. 100 will get you same results as 0

You finding any playbooks being more successful than others with slow sim?
So far it hasn’t been too bad from my testing but I plan on doing a series on playbooks this year so time will tell

As of now yes. I’m thinking of running 65 out for most to see if there have been any updates to them. Last year I ran 85 in and 70 out

All cpu does is throw shorts routes to the running back or to the tight end all game!! Shit is played out madden do better
