My home town as well. I left in 1980. The only places still the same are Barclays and Lloyds banks, and the church. Shenley Road seems to be all eateries now, no 'proper' shops.

I was born and brought up in Borehamwood, and I don't think there s a single shop there that was there when I left in 1978

Maybe wimpy , more restaurant (🤷🏻‍♂️) than shop but a must do on my annual return ❤
