I’m so happy they got black writers to write their lyrics because sometimes English versions of kpop songs be throwing all types of terms in their songs and it just sounds off putting. Korean version's lyrics are the more "humbled" lyrics, it's the reality while the English version is the "dream", becoming rich or wanting to be rich .. The Korean version of Regular is about working how to reach your dreams and never being satisfied with just being regular and the Korean version of Highway to Heaven is about being in a relationship where not everything is sunshine and rainbows. There are some hardships, but they can overcome it together because they are on a road together to the same destination. I really like this about kpop! I mean, i do like lyrics about straight flexing once in a while, but a lot of times, there is a deeper meaning to their songs. Even if i can't understand every single word they are saying.

NCT is contracted under an entertainment management company called SM Entertainment, which in Korea is sort of a combination of what you know as a 'management agency' and a 'record label' here in the States. They do everything in-house, from vocal training to dance lessons, artist management to video shoots, record production, etc etc... that's just the way they like to do it over there...and that offers some benefits in terms of legal issues, copyright stuff, public relations, brand awareness...you've probably read comments that say they're an "SM stan." That means they're fans of all the artists signed to SM Ent. With a company like that doing it all on their own; same producers, same directors, same engineers, working on multiple projects, what you end up with is a distinct 'flavor coming from that company...and some fans just REALLY love SM's flavor...lol

It's your choice if you want to react to it or not but I just want to recommend it since you can find the other hidden gems there... You won't regret it especially that NCT have a wide range of discography :-)) Anyways it's been fun to watch you guys enjoy the music and art they put out... Many of their main tracks are actually not first-listen friendly but most of the time I end up loving it and that's really KPOP in general (It's better now because international market are recognizing them now) So just keep into mind when you listen to other songs it's understandable that you won't like it the first time but I hope you still try to give the song a chance.
If you want some more songs with that fire rap you should check out Stray Kids songs "God's Menu" "Back Door" "Hellevator" (You've gotta read the lyrics to Hellevator before watching the music video, it's very meaningful), Stray Kids are known for their rap, dance, and vocal talent. All memebers of SKZ (Stray Kids) can do all three. These boys are such good producers, they've got a sub-unit called 3Racha. They come from JYP Entertainment which is one of the top 3 entertainment agencies in south korea (it's a big deal which company you come from) SKZ are a very versatile group, they can do any genre you throw at them. They've recently done a OP and ED for the anime Tower of God called "TOP". There are eight (one member left) members of the group go from the hyung's Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, to the maknae Jeongin. [Mah-k-nAy] = Youngest / & / [Hh-yong] = How a male reffers to their older male brother/friend I really hope you get to check out Stray Kids (SKZ) because they're such a talented group that works and should be a appreciated for their hard work and dedication. (also theres this new group called ATEEZ that I've been interested in for their crazy skills, mind reacting to them for me? They're getting mad popular right now! This song called "Black Cat Nero by ATEEZ" is really good)
One member is American, another Canadian (has lived in USA as well though) and another member also lived in the US for a few years as a kid. The leader also speaks fair English as he has to work Internationally a lot with his other group. I am a Native English speaker from a former British colony (RSA) , was still taught Queen's English at school, but dislike the English versions of their songs because unlike the Korean ones I can understand by reading the translated lyrics of - I have to search the meaning of the lyrics of the English Versions as they are heavily American slang based and it's not all things that we use...So it's hella diffucult because though it may be in English, an International language - it is very far from International... ╮(‵▽′)╭

React to NCT 127 - Limitless and Simons Says too :-)) And if you have time, you should listen to their albums' bsides as well!! It's your choice if you want to react to it or not but I just want to recommend it since you can find the other hidden gems there... You won't regret it especially that NCT have a wide range of discography :-)) Anyways it's been fun to watch you guys enjoy the music and art they put out... Many of their main tracks are actually not first-listen friendly but most of the time I end up loving it and that's really KPOP in general (It's better now because international market are recognizing them now) So just keep into mind when you listen to other songs it's understandable that you won't like it the first time but I hope you still try to give the song a chance.
If you want some more songs with that fire rap you should check out Stray Kids songs "God's Menu" "Back Door" "Hellevator" (You've gotta read the lyrics to Hellevator before watching the music video, it's very meaningful), Stray Kids are known for their rap, dance, and vocal talent. All memebers of SKZ (Stray Kids) can do all three. These boys are such good producers, they've got a sub-unit called 3Racha.
They come from JYP Entertainment which is one of the top 3 entertainment agencies in south korea (it's a big deal which company you come from) SKZ are a very versatile group, they can do any genre you throw at them. They've recently done a OP and ED for the anime Tower of God called "TOP".
There are eight (one member left) members of the group go from the hyung's Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, to the maknae Jeongin.

I really hope you get to check out Stray Kids (SKZ) because they're such a talented group that works and should be a appreciated for their hard work and dedication.

One member is American, another Canadian (has lived in USA as well though) and another member also lived in the US for a few years as a kid. The leader also speaks fair English as he has to work Internationally a lot with his other group.
I am a Native English speaker from a former British colony (RSA) , was still taught Queen's English at school, but dislike the English versions of their songs because unlike the Korean ones I can understand by reading the translated lyrics of - I have to search the meaning of the lyrics of the English Versions as they are heavily American slang based and it's not all things that we use...So it's hella diffucult because though it may be in English, an International language - it is very far from International... ╮(‵▽′)╭
