Actually I definately have to agree with you on that one. The Corvettes are know for getting pretty good mileage due to being so light and have such a good power to weight ratio. My brother has a new ZO6 and he drove to oklahoma city from new orleans and averaged 31mpg on the highway.
@fastlaneinc I am working on a 5.0 stroker for my 2 door 2wd Jeep Cherokee, with full bolt ons and cam looking at 300 whp roughly..... might think about going turbo and fully forged internals 400-500 whp.
Fastlane has a package that cost around $33,995 and all you have to do is provide the silverado. I think the package includes everything and they transform your truck and put the 427 and everything!

@antoniomoreno16 You are right about the Cyclone/Typhoon those things are fast, and even though people think the look crappy and old, they are very fast, rare cars they hold their value well too!!! I take Cyclone over Lightning any day, actually if I get an engine swap and transmission swap in my old crappy s15 and do some suspension work then I would have a Cyclone kinda.
Do you they have them for sell or you would just have to do it over the internet? I would want to buy one but go see it at the dealer and like test drive it...
reply fail. cid is not restricted to the RPO number of the engine. Any gen III block (yes, including the truck blocks) can be bored/resleeved out to 427 cid. When calling someone out on a fail, Try doing a little research before you end up with an epic fail of your own.

@fastlaneinc LS2s can't be bored out to a 427 unless they are re-sleeved, which in case, then yes it can be a LS2 based 427.
