This is a divine meody, listening to these sounds, you want to be somewhere far away, maybe at the end of the world and meet the sunrise or sunset, look at this masterpiece and envelop yourself in these sounds of the soul, which turn into a thin and gentle soul, which is ready for anything something more than I thought. I love to see the cheerleaders getting along with the marching band. At our school they just give us a dirty look whenever we play in a break at a game.
@@maxwellkrone5302 yeah but i its common knowledge that instruments need to be retuned when they are sitting in different weather conditions. Tenor Drums especially.
Maxwell Krone I wanna guess that maybe they got new drums or heads. And maybe they just put the heads on, and if you tune em too high, they could essentially break from being too tight. I’m pretty sure I heard one of the people from this drumline saying that, but I’m not fully sure. Just a potential thought for why they’re tuned so low.
Skittlz I have no clue what a tuned set of tenors sounds like, they are tenors so they all sound like an out of tune drum set. That’s what we love about them
Ok, so I’ve seen a tone of comments on the tuning on these drums, but from what I’ve heard, they are technically tuned correctly. The intervals between each drum are correct. I think a lot of people are thrown off by the lowness of the tenors, especially when the drumline is using deep shell tenors. One small complaint I have is , probably due to climate, the slight difference I’m tuning that is apparent during the unisons. Other than that the tuning isn’t actually bad, it’s just different, which I guess is bad in the drumline world?
I will also say, while the intervals are correct, maybe due to the head being old, or not tuning to a specific note, the tenors do sound a bit to damp and almost drowned it that’s a good way of saying it
And one last thing! After some thought I believe this is also an environment issue, as the tech of this respective school seems pretty competent in tuning of the snares and basses, as they both sound pretty good
@@creeperkiller9795 After now having played cymbals, then snare, then bass, then quads, I can now say, 2 years later, that while playing cymbals for a high school marching band as a freshman may not have been interesting bc we had only 2 of us, real cymbal lines can be really really cool and complex and are an integral part of drumlines.
Last year, this tenor and quadritone touch I thought it would be impossible to replicate this with my ability... now I've realized that this isn't difficult at all, to be honest (at least in this touch, yes)
We didn't play cymbals the whole game, or at all really. Only during pep rallies or 3rd quarter where we went down to the student section to hype them up. So our hands didn't ever get to the point of bleeding. Otherwise we were in the pit, I was xylophone that year.
The most chill version of jig 2 ever and someone tune those damn tenors
They're not as bad as this: th-cam.com/video/ZWJXzE9gQk0/w-d-xo.html lmao
IKR those tenors need tuned badly
Over all it was decent
Especially drums 3 and 4
The people: "Mary had a little lamb", not realizing its drum solo

THE PERSON’S MIND: oh wait wrong song XD
I think it is the song called "merii san no hituji" by meny people in japan
It is tho...
OMG TUNE THOSE TENOR HEADS!!!
HyruleWarrior12. That was EXACTLY what I was thinking.
HyruleWarrior12 they are defintely off a bit, now that i think about i should go tune mine
HyruleWarrior12 on my momma 😂
I guess everyone was thinking the same thing.😂😂
I was thinking they need to tune the tenor heads to because those are some good heads
Tenors need to be tuned higher. Good performance though.
its prolly the weather, im a tenor and after a while in the weather where i live the tenors get pretty out of tune
@@EpicLolBlox nah dude. those things are nearly timpani lol. very very badly tune tenors or very bad heads. or or the other.
that being said, they might be that low for budget concerns, if u tighten heads to where they sound "crisp" ur gonna run thru way more

Everybody's a critic. No one enjoys anything anymore
Honestly
i mean, technically you are criticizing those who are criticizing them so... just putting it out there lol
Well also, those tenors could use a little tuning up..
I’m just sick of hearing this over and over and it gets worse and worse each time
why5oserious They enjoy it lol, they are just giving criticism
The snare line sounding clean😍
the snares sound so good!
Those quads were tuned with a potato
Skittlz the potato could’ve tuned better
Importante

Also first one I've seen with a cymbal player
It sounds a lot better with a bunch of cymbal players
I played cymbals last year for my band, and it was so boring. Everything was just eighth note chokes. Glad I switched to snare.
@@samdimauro6789 cymbals is still important, no matter how boring the parts are
