Sir _, I am from Arunachal Pradesh, India. can you forge traditional sword which is very long its scale length is 70cm and it breadth is 4.5 cm. As its shape goes up decrease like 4.5 cm to 3.3 cm to sword top, please if you can forge even you can see the sword in TH-cam as search " Nyishi, Galo traditional sword of Arunachal Pradesh . Deeply requested 🙏🏻
I have some questions. You chose not to pack the canister out with powdered steel. You chose to weld on a tang rather than forge it out. You quenched in water then again in oil. No doubt the knife looks good, but why choose to do it this way?
I think he went without powdered steel as to stay as true to the title as possible (I obviously may be wrong since these are just my speculations) and maybe he welded on a tang as to not ruin the Damascus pattern possibly. As for the quenching I haven’t the slightest clue lol
That was a really cool build! I love the san-mai pattern with the Damascus! Awesome work ☺ oh yeah I usually make my knives barefoot too 😁 may you and your loved ones have a blessed day. Looking forward for your next project!
The voiceover was there because he’s still putting that his location is in the US when he’s not. Really should be putting it back to his own country but it is what it is
I love this guys so much he cares so much he edits that dark spot so it’s not too bright to the viewer and I Remember when he wasn’t posting much he had to retry many times it was on my old account sadly but I just subbed This is my new account btw
Once in this channel.... millions of view use to there ...but now .. the scenario is totally different..... it's sad to see..... But keep going bro , maintain your consistency. Try to do something new and different..... insallah this channel will rise again to it's peak
I was shocked that the billet held together without apparent cold shuts or cracking. I didn't realize you were just going to use it for a san mai construction, it worked out really nicely.
Oh my god thank you for finally making a thumbnail that doesn't have the final result. One of my personal favorite things about forging and restoration videos is seeing the transformation first hand, having the finished product right on the 'title' so to speak ruins quite a bit of the enjoyment for me
Was a truly frightening video at the beginning. I was like, wtf is he doing? Why is he doing that? No filler...going to have holes...I get it now lol I thought you had lost your bearings. Nice end result. Very nice knife.
Your the first person ive seen, actually fold the Damascus right and then layering it with softer steel inside. Little sad you didnt forge it by hand with proper full tang, but the weld looked solid enough for a kitchen knife. Lol
Actually the steel inside the damascus layers is high carbon steel, not softer steel. There'd be no point in doing san mai with soft steel for the edge!
it's wild how not only are you crazy good at metal works, but you're very good at woodshop as well it seems like, the handle was veyr well detailed as well as crafted. I guess doing metalworks rubs off towards other types of materials
Ya really needed some powdered metal to fill the voids that where left making the Canister Damascus other then filling the gaps it helps to show the contrast that makes Damascus Damascus.. It's still a beautiful piece..
A little powdered steel would have gone a long ways into making this billet a bit for operator friendly. Probably would have had your initial billet made in 2 or 3 heats.
You need a lot to make our Damascus knife to get these designs. You need to mix 5 types of iron together and you need to hammer 1200 hammerings. This is my hobby and my work and I inherited it from my grandfather. Even the process of treating the iron with oil was wrong. In any case, enjoy posting, my friend. Good luck. As for the correct method, no one will tell you about it 😉😂
Сталь с подшипников вполне подходит на режущую кромку, не обязательно было вставлять пластину в ламинат. Можно было оставить обойму на лезвие, а обкладки сделать из шариков.
Thanks for the love guys.

I love that choice of wood for a handle.
Excellent video, thank you for listening to feedback about the voice over as well.
Thank you for removing the AI voiceover!! I really admire you taking the criticism, being chill, and applying it. I absolutely love your videos man
Scrap metal into a beautiful tool. You are an alchemist. 👏👏
I got to admit I like the look of the bearings showing before you started folding it but it still turned out a beautiful knife
what a beautiful knife me and my dad love forging videos especially one's with Damascus it shows such beauty and tranquility
Amazing video as always. I always enjoy seeing handmade/handcrafted items, instead of a machined product. Well done.

And I also believe there wasn’t enough material on the blade to forge out a tang though I might be mistaken
Gorgeous damascus pattern, extreme quality knife, love the video
Absolutely beautiful!. Thank you for letting us see your excellent work.
Friend, what a beautiful damascus I love it.
I think that blade touched every forge, tool, and workstation in the shop!
I was waiting for the etch and you didn't disappoint. Very cool pattern and beautiful work.
Alhamdulillah brother keep it up May Allah continue to bring you success Ameen
Quality video as always! I've got a suggestion for you. Could you make a Spanish navaja bandolera in one of your future videos?
You should do more thumbnails like this (hiding the end result to keep it a mystery reveal).
Great finishing......love it to see
Nice damascus love it, Like your t shirt bravo👍😉

so simple but very elegant knife, ,i love it , ,including the classic motorbike, ,
I'm amazed that you ended up with such a solid billet after not using any steel powder! No cold shuts!

Thanks for no commentary but if you want to talk about the project you're working on at the time you could use subtitles
This is one of the most technically challenging Damascus forgings I’ve seen.

I was certain (almost) that there would be delaminations and inclusions. Guess I wuz wrong. Beautifully done sir.
There are denominations and inclusions.

I would like to see you make a weapon like in the game Wukong Black myth because no one has made a video yet. Thank you.

Really like the Japanese knife. Nice design of the Damascus on the knife. I am looking forward to the next build.
