NETWAR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to organizing and hosting video gaming events in Omaha, Nebraska. We host two large LAN (Local Area Network) parties a year for gamers of all age, skill, and experience levels. Our entire organization and event is non-profit, and the proceeds from our events go straight to charity. We love throwing awesome LAN parties and raising money for local and national charities.
Gamers bring their computers or consoles to NETWAR to play a wide range of multiplayer games. NETWAR is not just for competitive gamers who want to play in tournaments, but also for the hobbyist gamer who enjoys playing their favorite game with friends. Every gamer who attends a NETWAR event is also eligible to win big prizes in our event raffle. These prizes are made possible by our gracious sponsors!
I wish I lived a little closer. I'd love to go twice a year.

so like where does the money come from for charity? you got some rich company supplying you prizes to give others if they pay a ticket to get in a raffle but how many people do that? is it required? do people just come to play games for free and how would you profit from that?
Sponsors can provide prizes and financial ones if they choose. Attendees also pay to have a seat at the event.
You pay an entrance fee. That fee covers the expense of the venue and other expenses incurred by the organizers. The rest typically goes to a charity. The prizes are given to the event by the sponsors. Some prizes, based on other lan parties I have attended, are given to winners of competitive events and others as "door" prizes.
What's the power bills cost?
It's included in the rental fee :)
is there going to be a Fortnite Tournament any time soon, and if yes will there be prizes to be won depending on the place you have gotten?
Each event we send out a survey to understand the demand for certain tournaments. Unfortunately Fortnite did not receive as many votes as many other games. We also have the issue of not having the ability to run private servers in Fortnite for a tournament.
Ok thank you for replying, if you have over 1,000 followers on any social media and you sign up for Fortnite Custom code you will get one. So you would be able to host your own tourneys
