Is cotton thread ok? I like cotton thread for quilting. I ask because I was told to only use polyester in my Viking machines. I have the Emerald 166 and the Jade embroidery machines.
I know the embroidery uses special embroidery thread for embroidery. I'm asking about general sewing, more specifically quilt piecing.
