Instead, here smoke detectors and temperature sensors are linked to a controller(micro controller based or plc). The controller is monitoring the sensor data and triggers the solenoid valves once it detects the condition of a fire( high temp and lots of smoke). Water is stored in pressurized blue cyclinder( pressurized by nitrogen not air) is then sprayed in the entire compartment via sprinkler nozzles. Hope this helps.
