    Incase of an electrical fire, Wont water make it much more worse?

    Standalone Smoke and Heat Detectors are used here?

      Yes. Smoke and temperature sensors working in unison to trigger the sprinkler system. As this is a pantry car, ambient temperatures will be relatively high. Using only temp sensors can result in false alarm, hence both the sensors are used to detect high temp and smoke.

      @@ashakale4122 I will not go into much technical details as I should not. Think of it like a smoke alarm system for home owners. Instead, here smoke detectors and temperature sensors are linked to a controller(micro controller based or plc). The controller is monitoring the sensor data and triggers the solenoid valves once it detects the condition of a fire( high temp and lots of smoke). Water is stored in pressurized blue cyclinder( pressurized by nitrogen not air) is then sprayed in the entire compartment via sprinkler nozzles. Hope this helps.
