That really isn't the case in many parts of the country or in NYC. She was walking around Times Square: its mostly tourists and new immigrants working the street. The foreign tourists aren't going to get involved and see it as funny and the US tourists have a much higher probability of being a Trump supporter than a NY local. She's also a non-white woman, which already makes her less likely to be targeted than a white man. If she went to any other area (except Staten Island and parts of Upper East) she would have gotten yelled at, if she were a man someone would have taken his hat and maybe punched him.

I was at a Super Walmart last Thursday and there came an African American lady, walking by all the aisles with a girl of about 7 years old. The lady was shouting: I voted for Trump. Make America great again. The girl had a little sign in her hands that I could not read but I think it said MAGA. The people at the store were laughing, smiling and cheering!

That in the case of young men specifically there are some of these individual's who know exactly what they want, aren't confused in any way, actively seek out these types of relationships and prefer them to relationships with people in their age group. That was amazing! Thank you for doing that. I was completely against Trump in the beginning. I was leaning very far left. Until one day I embarrassed myself and my husband by being a "snowflake" and getting triggered by someone else's opinion. (I am using these descriptive terms to give an example) I completely overreacted and let my emotions take over my common sense. When I had calmed down and reflected on my actions, I realized that I had decided to hate Trump solely for his callousness and abruptness. I had never taken a moment to listen to the rights views. I was at the point where I was arguing with people just because they were republicans. I decided that if I was going to argue with them reguarding their ideas and their beliefs I should at least educate myself on them first so I would be better prepared to support my position. Once I started researching I was dumbfounded. I believed most of what they believed. I felt the same or somewhere near the same about the majority of the issues. That got me thinking what did I really have against the republicans? Why was it that I hated them? It was because I had fed into the media feeding me these stories that the republicans were racist, fascist, women hating, greedy people........
That's not the case. The republicans believe in small government. Which means that the people have more power over their own lives. They believe in lower taxes. They believe that the legal immigration system has to be fixed so that immigrants have more opportunities to legally enter our country and have proper documentation so that they are able to work decent paying jobs and are able to chase the American dream. They believe in an economy where people have the opportunity to start small business and compete for a spot on the market. They believe in keeping jobs in America so that our blue collar workers are able to make a decent wage. These are all things I believe in.
Would I now call myself a republican? No, I would not. I don't know what I would call myself. I believe American would be the best term. I will never again vote for someone based on their political party. I will educate myself on each candidate. And I will choose to vote for the candidate that puts the interests of American people first. I don't always agree with the way our President chooses to do things, but I do believe he is getting things done. I wish he would filter what he says, but I don't have to like the President to acknowledge he is doing a good job.

None of this suggests support for Trump's agenda.
And repeated polls also show that Bernie Sanders, an avowed socialist, is the most popular politician in the country *by far.*
