I also have the same problem on my Samsung WF219ANB. Spin cycle is really loud and lots of smoke coming out. American Homeshield have said that the parts needed to replace bad parts is no longer available. My washer is 10 yrs old.
That's how they get you to bust your bank and buy a whole new machine. I hate Samsung, they purposely make their machines unfixable by the average dude. Before my set I had my old washer running for 12 years cause I just had the tools laying about. Now they make such specialized tools that you either have to call a technician, spend thousands for the tools, or get a new machine.

Have you seen this happen one time and then the washing machine works normally again? I’m thinking I had a sock or something stuck on gasket.
That's not the bearings only, it's also the drum assembly (spider) in the back of the drum is broken. Thus isn't repairable

Each cycle has different spin high , medium , low and no spin , each time they use different cycles
The spin speed can be changed on every cycle though.
I don’t remember if he was using high spin or low spin but heavy loads causes most of the biggest issues on these units
