Great video Chris, Spending time with the family especially your Dad I used to do the same with my old dad, make the most of having them around m8 ❤️👍🏻
Evening Chris…..great seeing you spending time with your dad, and daughter, just tinkering and having a laugh, memories are made from days like that 👍🇮🇲
i had one of these it runs on TVO which we used to make with petrol kerosene and 2 stroke oil, started it up on the petrol till it got hot then switched it over to the TVO, used to pull logs out of a forest for a year or so, never missed a beat, was a good little tractor..
i know a bloke down melton mowbray way, but his getting on now .. about 80 odd. I'lll ask him next time i go round for a cuppa. Also mint video fellas, propper british midlands this love it.
When I left school (15) I worked on a farm that had a T20 with bigger rear wheels (off a 165 I think). It would do 30mph on the road. I thought I was the DBs with a 2wheeled trailer + a 4wheeler behind that loaded with straw. Didn't enter my head as to how I might stop it if needed.
@@Professional-struggler Dragged it home once with a flat tyre on the rear, some bloke in a car trying to attract my attention. Didn't hear a thing up front, too busy holing the throttle open, giving it all the beans.
Can get the block stich welded.i remember fuzz getting an old block done on car SOS. Then new liners and rings she'll be good as new. Block I work with, his uncle does rads if that needs a new core as well. Sure he's up your way somewhere as well.
Hi Chris we used to get the wire mesh air filter out and set fire to it to burn out all of the crap out of it. Some people think you bugged them up but you don’t it’s fine.
Hi Chris where the water was coming out it could just be a block core plug that's designed to brake or crack when frozen or to higher pressure to stop further damage. Check for spark put fuel in it should fire up as like Ng as it turns over.
Have a look into cold stitch weld repair Chris…somebody will be able to sort that freeze crack out by doing that! I bet dad will know what it is.. you don’t tend to see it much anymore since we live in a chuck it away society.
before you start spending money Chris whip them plugs out and pour some Diesel into the cylinders and leav it a couple of weeks it might just release it ? good luck
Hi Chris. Watch all your videos. Top man. Never comment really. But one thing I will say. Cherish time spent with your dad. Wish I could have one more day. Cheers buddy.
Had one in my yard for ages no wheels and poor tin work engine was perfect sadly scrapped it in Feb if I had a pound for every tractor enthusiast that was going to buy it I would have been a rich man, everyone said it wanted saving but no one willing to pull the trigger and pay for it
Hi Chris good to see you and family having that time together. You got young Birdie working on the old tractor can't fault you teach them when you can keep up with the vlogs mate you put out good content 👌
And my block cracked same reason similar place, leaks like sieve till its hot then seals itself,it's repairable at a price. Also there's nowt you can't buy to repair or replace be it new or s/hand
Time to start hunting in local farmers barns, bet one of them has a tractor like that under a hay bale or something. Failing that whip the engine out and I’m sure you can modify it to take a nice v6 lol
Looks like the block froze and thawed a few times over the years to damage the block like that, plus there will be sod all compression if it runs on paraffin.
Cheers Julian! Going to try and put some stuff down the cylinders once I know the outcome I’ll let you know, be in the summer at some point mate 👍 thank you 😁
Mine was stood 18 years gave it a newish battery and new petrol and it ran second attempt with no other fettling,it's now been stood outside since covid came Knockin not ran since......its time to try
Pull the plugs out and poor diesel down holes let it sit keep topping her of then just slap it in gear and gently rocker her back and to, I'm sure she'll break free bud
