I just love this idea. I have not seen this before but I am new to making journals. I will be trying this. I watch all your videos and get so many ideas from them.😊
I remember making these with you last year as gifts for my daughter and granddaughters! They were so fun and they loved them. I need to make some again this year! Great job! Beautiful images and collages on the pages!
I kind of combined an ephemera piece from Gayles series a year ago and from Chelle at a ramblin Crafter. Kind of like a combo idea! I love these hinge journals! I need to make more! Hugs my friend! 🤗😘❤️
I Amy I love that kind of project it’s really nice and easy like you say we can make lot of it if we are prepared thank you so much for sharing xx stay safe it’s hard here in Quebec Canada I live in a red zone so things aren’t easy xx
I have seen you do the hinged thing before but never one with the double pages. I love it! This old video just popped up and I'm glad I watched it. 🤩 Happy New Year! 🥳
Amy, I enjoyed this video. I never get tired of watching you create. Hope you have a good day and find a reason to smile. Hugs 🤗 Your friend Cindy from a small town in Northern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️❤️❤️
I have an Epson too, and found that running the head cleaner often, helps. I also wondered if the 'standard' setting for ink, instead of 'high quality', might be the reason?
I love your hinge journals. I soooo need to make one. I have squirrel vision... I have been crafting all day and many things started, nothing finished. Ugh If I don't work on projects with closing in due dates soon. I might be in trouble... Hugs!!
I'm so glad you did one of these again. It was a great reminder. I saw this last year but didn't get any done. Time really does fly by all the time but especially at the holidays. Maybe I will get some done this year. I love the papers you put together. So pretty. Hope you don't get seriously ill. You will be in my prayers. Thanks again for sharing.
Thank you so much Kim. I am feeling a bit better today so I think I'm ok. I think you will really like making these they kinda become addictive. Blessings, Amy💕😺
I'm looking into those printers. My Uncle is a computer guy and he said they are really good. He said the lines are usually a "head" issue. The cartridges have the head attached but the tanks don't. You mentioned previously you have already done the aligning etc. So I will ask him again and see what he says and let you know.
Thank you that would be great. I can print about 5 to 7 pages then the lines start. It's like it needs a rest. I do clean the heads and check the alignment but it still does this. If it wasn't for that it would be the best printer ever! Blessings, Amy💕😺
@@craftycat7212 I talked to my uncle and he said it may be a bad head. He said some heads and nozzles help dry the ink and if they get hot can cause ink to dry in them. You've already looked into that so not much help but one of my other uncles is a photographer who does his own prints so I'm asking him too lol
Hi Amy, Christmas is 11 weekends away, when I saw this I was like I better get moving on buying gifts, with the virus I was thinking things will sell out fast online, I hope I’m wrong but you never know. This is cute for a gift could fill it with some gift cards/money. I save Christmas cards I receive and cut out the images, words and use them in my JJ. 👍🍁🍁🍁😻🎃
Thank you Pat. I have also done that in the past it works great. You could even make one of these entirely out of cards and just cover any messages on the inside etc. Christmas will be here in no time. Blessings, Amy💕😺
th-cam.com/video/MF_abluJnHA/w-d-xo.html they are in this video after I show the happy mail. I just call them journal hidey spots, for lack of a better name. I got the idea from Dee Dee Farago who is linked in the description box of this video.💕😺Amy
Welcome and thank you. I’m not sure which stuff you are referring to. Was it the paper hinges that hold the pages together? If so they are just paper backed with book page to make the hinges of this type of journal.💕
I have an Epson ET-2650. I get the lines a lot also. I clean the print head and it works good for awhile. Then the lines are back. So frustrating!! I ran into a new problem with my printer. The ink pad waste is what I think it is called. Has a limited life and I didn't know that. Epson says you have to send it in to be fixed. If you get that error. Email me and I will walk you through how to fix it. It is easy and costs about $20 to fix. Hugs!!

It really is. Thank you, Amy💕😺

I was inspired by another video you did making a hinged journal. I enjoyed making one. Thanks for sharing. :)
Awesome! They are very fun and you don't have to sew in signatures. 👍😁

Cute, we went from 23 degrees to 16 degrees over night and have stayed at that or lower ever since.
Yuck that's to cold. That is January weather.🥶 Thank you, Amy💕😺
Love it!😊

Not really interested in Christmas, but I did want to see or learn how to do the hinge thing....😻
Great, hope it helped.💕
How did you make the note spots ephemeral? Beautiful book
Find words in a book rip or cut them out then I glued them to ledger paper. I hope this is what you meant.👍💕Amy

What was the ephemera call again hiding spot? Do you have a video on that too?

I need to have a go at making a hinged journal. Just need more hours in the day! We are in local lockdown here in North Wales x
I know what you mean about needing more hours in a day. Sorry about the lockdown. Stay safe, Amy💕😺
Thats the UK weather for you
Bummer. Don't freeze. Blessings, Amy😁
The images are from Dreamz etc… EZ cuts Christmas kits.
Yes, thank you! I was drawing a blank.💕😺Amy
Crafty Cat it happens to me a lot… lol! 😀 I only remembered because I was just looking at the pieces in the kit I bought last year. 😊
Can you share the video and how to make the hinges - thx
It’s in this video. They are just the small pieces of paper folded in half. Best to use card stock.👍🏻💕
@@craftycat7212 thank you!
Something new for me to try. TFS
Wonderful, enjoy.💕😺Amy
Hey just found your channel. What is that stuff you put on the edge of the papers? Thanks. I subbed by the way.

@@craftycat7212 oh the stuff that's on that brush thing. Sorry.
That is Tim Holtz distress ink in Vintage Photo. Sorry😁👍🏻
