I love this charger however I’ve noticed one thing. Whenever the my iPhone 15 is charging. The iPhone no longer plays the charging chime when it’s connected.
Can you plug something other than the watch charger into the usb c slot. Curious if I can plug the charging cable of another device, say a second iphone, and charge it?
I’m trying this charger with 15 pro max only. No charge light lit on the stand when charging and using the 80% charge limit the charger is not charging back up to 80 when the battery falls below 80 when left on the charger overnight. Anyone else notice similar results?
@@Brians_tech No I have not tried turning off the 80 limit. Actually have already packed up the ESR for return. I was trying it for the Qi2 technology but I didn’t have any problems with my previous charger, I will just keep using that one.
What a great video, I love ESR I have any items, any chance that you could test it with Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, watch and Earbuds2 Pro please, I have been able to magsafe charge my Galaxy phone before, as the phone does have magnets in it. Please please test it, have a great weekend buddy 👍
Unfortunately I don’t have any of those devices. I only have an iPhone. I know the S24 Ultra will work with it if you have a MagSafe case. The watch, I’m not sure. The earbuds should work as long as they can wirelessly charge on any Qi charger, which I’m pretty sure they do. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
Qi2 (pronounced chee) is a newer wireless charging standard that gives you 15w charging as opposed to the older Qi that gave 7.5w. Similar to the MagSafe Certified wireless chargers but will also work for Qi2 compatible androids.
Just not really my thing anymore. Got tired of all the notifications on my wrist and didn’t see the point of the Apple Watch if i had everything silenced on it.
@Brians_tech that's OK after years of using my gear 2 Samsung ib can't find a replacement band to use it anymore. May grab the next version when it drops
U can place the cover at the other end of the watch charger.
Great vid. I believe the cover of that Apple Watch charger magnetically attaches to the back when it’s plugged in to the base so you wont lose it.
Thank you! And that’s good to know. I didn’t even think about that. But glad it’s a feature. Thanks for pointing that out.

I wonder why it does that. Maybe a software issue with the iPhone as well. Try after another update.
Like watching unboxings! ❤
Would it attach to my iphone if I use spigen clear case but without magsafe circle? Thanks
It might, but it would be very weak

You should be able to. It’s a regular USB C port.
Does the little blue light in the front light up when you are charging the AirPods? Otherwise what is its purpose?
It does light up when you’re charging something.
Really liked your iphone case. Would you be able to name or link it? Thanks a lot.
That’s the Arc Pulse. I have a video on it as well.
@@Brians_tech Appreciate the reply. I found it from your insta. Loved your content. Cheers!

It should just maintain your phone at that 80% charge
@@Brians_tech Thanks but to be more specific phone on charger overnight, charged to 80% and fell to 70%. Did not charge back up to 80.
That’s weird. Have you tried to turn off the 80% limit?

I noticed strange sounds coming from mine, somewhat like ticking or ringing. Did you experience any of this?
No I don’t. Maybe an issue with your unit. I would try to contact ESR

Got this charger and it causes my iPhone 15 Pro Max to overheat and pause charging
That’s strange. I used it a bunch of times and never had that issue. I would contact ESR about it.
Yea, it happened to me only once. Just thought it was strange as it never happened on any of my other Magsafe chargers.@@Brians_tech
What is G2?

Yep. Great explanation.
@@iitzstan thanks!
Can you pick up your phone without using your two hands ? It does seems like it got no weight to it
Yeah you just kinda of pull it off from the top or bottom of the phone.
Phone wont charge properly with speck or spigen cases WTH...esr case has no issues
I just tested it and had no issues charging with either a speck or multiple Spigen cases.
This or the new Aukey 3-1?
I like the build and design of the Aukey more
Does the head not tilt or swivel ?
No, if you’re looking for one that does, grab the Aukey Qi2 3-in-1. I have a video on it.
Does this charge galaxy watches?
I am not sure. If galaxy watches can charge on an Apple Watch charger, then it should be able to.
Why no Apple Watch ?
Just not really my thing anymore. Got tired of all the notifications on my wrist and didn’t see the point of the Apple Watch if i had everything silenced on it.
No watch or just no apple watch? Come on Brian get with the ecosystem 😂😂
Sir! lmao. I have watches, just not an Apple Watch! 😂😂
