Good to see you are feeling better and love me a 1911 video. Held a used nighthawk? About a year ago, the price was good, and I had the cash. The grip had a night hawk serial# but the slide did not have any making or nighthawk logo. I passed, it was gone in a few days. Hooh, Seabees can do!

That is a super nice 45 looks great and shoots great 👍. You know I'm not talking custom here but I've been wanting a single six 45 long colt and that's what I'm probably going to get me pretty soon , I was looking at a Taylor & Company a while back and it's been itching me since , I just need a peacemaker in my collection that's get that 3.5 pound trigger and some custom stag grips , now Old Patton himself would like that.
@@SGT1911 Pops left me a Colt 32 Police Positive and an S&W 32 snub , that old 32 looks like it's been dang busy over the years , busted grip but it's still fairly tight, I think I'll just hang up for a heirloom.

Love the video!!! I have a 20+ year old Springfield 1911 that is very sentimental to me but its showing signs of wear and could do with some TLC from a gunsmith. Anyone have any ideas of where I could sent it for someone to check out and maybe freshen up?

I have a couple questions. Can I convert my R.I 9mm to 38 super and what do you think about that caliber. I also have a ruger sr1911 in commander size in 45acp. I haven't been able to find a 460 rowland conversion for it. I found the conversion kit for 5 in. G.I. size just not the commander 4 inch. Do they make the conversion kit for commander size 1911s.
Bro. i don't know about the conversion for a commander. My best answer would be to simply call Clark Custom in Louisiana and ask them. Thery are the maker.
@SGT1911 I called Clark customs and they told me they didn't make a conversion kit for the commander size. They only make it for the standard mil spec steel frame. The R.I full size isn't an approved model to use they have a specific list that can handle the conversion. Colt, Smith and Wesson, kimber, remington, Taurus, and ruger. Right now they have a supplier issue and only have the blued compensator the stainless steel is out of stock and they don't know when or if they will be able to get more in. Thought you might want to know.
My WC X9 and NHC Counselor are my practical workhorses and top of their class in the single/double stack categories. My Agent 2 is my fuck you Glock fan boi gun

Love my 1911's BUT 5K or more??? Can buy allot of ammo to practice with my 1K Ruger and have a bunch of brass to reload
