Well, I'm still sick but the PBC capacitor experiment board came in, so I thought I'd try to shoot my first PCB assembly video. It went ok I guess. I didn't have the energy I wanted to explain more so I got some info out and used captions for the rest.
When I designed and order this board it was for the MPPT-7210A which requires my panels in parallel (approx. 20V). However, I'm now using a an PWM that requires my panels in series connection (60V) and that's punching the limits of the capacitors. I will test this board out but will also be updating the board design to have some drain LEDs to drain the caps and will order 200V caps to be safe. The capacitors only charge to whatever the input voltage is not the cap limit.
Any how stay tuned for better weather and ill test this thing out on the solar generator (Solar E-Bike Battery) in the next coming days.

I also need to mention this will only work if I set the max charge to be less than my panels give and not under so many voltages, I normally am well under the panels max power of 90W. The batteries are strange and charge at a low current but can give out 270amps per so be careful! stay tuned for the test! I noticed when editing I forgot to solder 2 pins :) oops. fixed it.
