She always research so well that the food she eats and the restaurants she goes to are really authentic food from other countries even though it's located in Korea. Really love her attention to that small detail that most forget. Truly the best TH-cam channel with so much diversity and good content
yup! ive seen imitation sisig, pancit, and crispy pata here in the philippines and they look far worse than those hahahaha the only questionable is turon but i think its close enough lol
Yes! That's what I like about Solar, she always research and not just film for the sake of it. And she always stay true to herself, she will say if she likes the food or not. If she stopped eating didn't mean she didn't like the food. She's just really disciplined in all aspect. When it comes to food, she stops when she's full, coz she needs to maintain her diet.
When Solar said she felt full while eating, I wasn’t surprised. That’s the charm of Filipino foods 😊 I think that’s the reason why Filipinos usually just have one to two dishes paired with rice (except when there are occasions) Unlike the others that have so many side dishes, Filipinos can only have one dish but in big servings.
I'm so happy she's continuing this solar eats program with South East Asian countries, as an Indonesian i definitely feel like SEA countries have some of the richest most flavourful and amazingly diverse foods and drinks and it's so refreshing to see an idol like Solar representing them in her channel 🥺
This banana is a different kind of banana which is called "Saba". This type has to be cooked first to enjoy the sweetness and savory flavor of it. Thank you Solar for introducing Philippine delicacies to others 🥰
OMG, yes! We need more internationally famous people like Solar to try out Filipino food! These are the classics, with only sinigang, adobo, and lechon missing. Solar Eats gives her great opportunities to try other culture's foods!
I didn't know Solar live in the Philippines before! I'm happy just by watching her eat and enjoy our foods, as a Filipino MOOMOO~ Just wanna say random facts: Sizzling sisig is usually eaten when you drink alcoholic drinks, especially beer. Aside from banana turon, there are also banana cue (grilled banana coated with sugar and margarine) and camote cue (sweet potato) that I hope you guys and Solar get a chance to eat because those are really great and we eat those here as snacks! Anyways, I really hope to join MAMAMOO's future events here in the Philippines~ Mahal namin kayo
Now this is a proper Mukbang of Filipino food ❤️ Also, I didn't know she lived in the Philippines before! That's hella cool to see Solar's familiarity and respect towards food I grew up with.
@@user-dh2ni9ui5h yeah its one of those tourist traps.....she paid upfront for some sightseeing island hopping i believe. Next day the guy didn't show up.
She got scammed in cebu. Trip to boracay is another story. They went to boracay to spend their mamamoo anniversary last 2019. It's also here in her channel. Check it.😉😁
I like that she actually went to a place that seems to serve authentic Filipino cuisine instead of some fast food or random Filipino mart food. Plus she went into details instead of just saying it's nice or okay.
Woah you're here! Hahaha! Let me guess.... is this Liz? Waiting for your latest concert vlog! Hahaha BTW, you'd like our food, for sure. It'll be "familiar" to you cos of the "Hispanic" touch to it. There's quite a lot of Filipino restaurants there. Try it when you have free time.
Solar is really the most incredible TH-camr she filmed this on the same day as the Aqua Yoga video since it's the same location and outfit from her Instagram. Filmed right the day before they have to fly to Germany for KpopFlex and right before her musical starts. Her time management skills once again on point.

PAIRING THE FOOD DIRECTLY WITH THE GARLIC RICE, DRINKING THAT KALAMANSI JUICE LIKE!!! PROPS TO YOU! continue having a good time with your meal! also the the restaurant bro that looks right! real good filipino food right there!
Solar unnie loves Pansit Canton! 😍 Here in the Philippines, each province has a unique way of cooking pansit. As for Banana Turon, it is a delicious and affordable snack. We sometimes add different fillings like chocolate, jack fruit, and purple yam.
I really love Solar's mukbang. She doesn't overeat and genuinely eats the food as a meal and share whether she likes them or not. Her mukbang as well as other videos truly feels like a companion and not made for clout.
Tip 1: crispy pata and sisig are often paired with alcohol, most frequently cold beer. Tip 2: to cut out the greasiness and keep a familiar Korean taste, you can have it with kimchi. Done the pairing plenty of times. Tip 3: banana turon may be paired with ice cream, if you're feeling fancy. The softness of the ice cream provides a nice contrast to the crispiness of the turon.
What omg i didnt know Queen Solar lived in the phils before??? It’s so endearing watching her enjoying my home country’s food omg. I havent had these for a long time either (lived overseas more than half of my life) so this feels so nostalgic! Thank you for doing this 💖💖💖💖
