Paint protection film (PPF, also called clear bra, clear film or clear paint film) is a thermoplastic urethane often self-healing film applied to painted surfaces of a new or used car in order to protect the paint from stone chips, bug splatters, and minor abrasions. This film is also used on airplanes, RVs, cell phones, electronics, screens, motorcycles, and many other areas. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Lay it down thick, let it bond and cure.....ENJOY! If you are applying to an already coated car....just wash, decon, coat.
I can't help but to admire Brian's success. Good job sir on all your endeavors
Much appreciated.
I tried 4 bottles of bc1 for 4 customers I've done. The coating is great does what it needs to do , easy to apply , fast curing. Doesn't get easier honestly
Wow. Great job like always. With full heart. You do everything with perfection. I love to consume your videos. Love it Brian❣️
I have been using all of the BC products in the line up for over a year on multiple cars and everything has been awesome. Keep up the great work guys.
Definitely icing on top of a beautifully coated vehicle.Great product line Brian 💎
Great addition to the Blue Collar line Brian! You make some of the best pro coatings for us regular people and the best part you don't gatekeep with that stupid 'must be certified crap' everyone should be able to buy whatever they want. Much respect brother!🎉 Please don't ever sell your Blue Collar brand to a big company they will ruined it.
LOVE the BC product line up and I’m sure this will be a joy to use as well !!!
Thanks Brian !
I see the Detail King is Mastering it all! Love the product!
Thanks for your inspiration, always keeping that calendar full and pushing forward with new ventures ….

Congrats on new product release good friend
You share such valuable technical information ❤ and create excellent user friendly coatings! Thanks 🏁
Our pleasure!
Very cool. 245k subs! Now that's cool too!
I hope He gets to a million! I’ve learned so much from Brian. He’s World Class!
Thanks! I appreciate your support!
@@apexdetail85 My pleasure! Thanks for helping us as always!
There’s never been an easier coating!!! Wow! Three cars here need a new coating. This might have to be the one!! Thanks for sharing this with us.
Awesome stuff Brian!!
Great looking product which every detailer needs. On a side note with the banks beginning to realize their unrealized losses from commercial backed mortgages there will be some great buys out there.
Nice with new product
Looks like another great product!
Awesome video and product release good friend
Well done!
Nice looking forward to the business video. That would be awesome.
This is a no brainer of a purchase. I currently have an existing coating that is 1year in - cannot wait to apply 8 on top.
I look forward to the feedback.
Awesome
Just ordered to see what it’ll add to a BC1 coating that I applied a few months ago to my 2021 White Santa Fe.
I look forward to the feedback.
Brian, time for a vacation. We aren't going anywhere. We love what you do, but life is too short.
2nd that.......take a road trip in the AMG. come to the house, bring sissy, and the grill will be ready and waiting for you
I just got back from the Outer Banks NC. Savannah Georgia is next.
@@apexdetail85 in the amg or lambo ?????
@@apexdetail85 is sissy co-pilot with shades on lol
Looks like a other good product.
I have read previously that oftentimes leaving the coating without a topper ia best ao we get the properties from the coating itself. Is this as good or superior to ghr BC1 or similar that it is worth having on top?
So this is a stand alone ceramic? If so I will get a bottle 🍼👍🏻. Good video
It can be....absolutely.
I have a 2018 dark gray Jeep wrangler that’s ready for a renew weekend polishing. Color similar to your Mercedes. Sits outside all the time daily driver. Would you recommend BC 8 to add that new paint shine and protection or have something better to recommend. Price doesn’t matter!
I'd like to see it go up against Tac Systems Quartz Easy. I think that would be a fair line up.
Looks incredibly easy to apply! Does this sheet or bead?
Its a beader.
Can you apply two coats ?? And if so, how long between the coats.
Brian we like the old ones because the cure time is 4 hours.
There is a bit of a trade off.
Considering using this on a truck with BC1 that about a year old at this point. I know the tailgate has some bonded contaminants on it. Curious if I should try using a "fine" clay towel to lightly remove that or what would be the best approach to prep BC1 without degrading it to put the BC8 on? Does the BC8 offer any filling properties as it relates to possible micro marring on existing coatings?
Water spot remover
Great question. Curious as to the recommended prep for using it as a topper for an existing coating. I was thinking decon wash, water spot remover, iron remover and panel prep then bc8 to top. You raise a good point, what about a light clay?
Yes....just wash and decon.
I have BC2 on hand. Will this show me anything I don't see with BC2? I'm always up for extra gloss.
Use your BC2...Then try this when in need.
Since BC3 is an ‘older’ product is there a replacement or topper/drying aid spray, that can be applied after maintenance washes and layered, in the pipeline? Specifically with more durability since you just recently called it a detailer/booster not offering longer term protection.
Yes....BC9 is on the way
Is BC a one year replacement for a ceramic coating? Can it be applied in the shade?
No garage necessary. Yes
Have you tried it on top of diy details ceramic coating yet
No problems.
I'm not sure if I missed it but is this coating good for the Whole Car? Plastics,Glass, Metal?
All hard surfaces.
The underside of that hood has no insulation on it. How does the extra heat that reaches the paint affect the products put on the hood? That hood will see significantly hotter temps than the rest of the panels, like the trunk, for most of the year here in the Northeast.
It has Paint Protection Film on the hood. It can withstand the temps.
Would BC8 negate the need to use a booster like BC3 or rehydra sheet?
Use them for maintenance.
@@apexdetail85 So I guess if you are still having to use BC3/sheet for maintenance why even waste your time with the BC8. It doesn't accomplish anything different if you're still having to use a maintenance spray on top of it still.
@@handymadness everything on this planet needs to be maintained. Those are maintenance sprays. Do I really ned to explain this further?
@@apexdetail85 I’m not sure where the bad attitude is coming from. I’ve purchased rehydra sheet from you before and am asking an honest question. I’ve been detailing since 2010 and have coated more cars than I can count. If you still have to maintain bc8 why not just maintain the underlying ceramic coating. That’s where I’m trying to get clarification. Either way, I don’t appreciate your terse attitude to an honest question. You don’t need to respond back because I’ll never buy anything from you again and with an attitude like that, others might not either.
how does shine, slickness, and water behavior compare to BC3?
That video is in the works.
If I initially coat with BC 1, how long after I apply BC 1 do I have to wait before I apply BC 8?
Should probably remove BC3 . Brian states that it’s only as strong as the Foundation .
@@SteveJames-cm6ss My bad, I meant BC 1 not BC 3.
@@markjohnson777 - No Problem - It’s a Great Topper For BC1 . 😊
Just 2 hr.
Where the beading shots
That video is in the works.
I would be impressed if u applied coating, filmed, wiped than drink YING LING that would be impressive 😆😆😆😆
Well....I am having one now....does that count?
@@apexdetail85 😀😀😀😀
Kinda sounds like just doing a normal ceramic coating. Just a watered down version. You inform us that we must pretty much polish before application, isn’t that removing the already existing coating? Sell us on how this is any different from a regular ceramic coating that is already on the vehicle. This seems like a 1 year ceramic coating. As stated in the comments above, does this fill in “love marks”?
He said the vehicle should be polished so your not buring any imperfections, that's just common sense with any coating applications...if your paints fine you can apply it over the top of your existing coating
i watched the video while doing the dishes with the sound off and subtitles on and understood everything he said..
Maybe you need to watch the video again..
I was referring to if it is being used as a stand alone coating. If already coated....just decon.
BTW...That info is in the pinned comment.
What I’m saying is the wait time. It’s basically coating the car again with a ceramic, the waiting another 24 hours to cure then 5 days before washing.
First!!!
Clickity Klack You’ll Be Back Brian 👀👌🫡🤜🏽
