The length of time it takes to freeze and the length is stored for is incredbily important, you lucked out on that one laddie . Can I suggest for a follow up video you take 6 steaks from the same supplier fresh, then some liquid nitrogen , some dry ice and 2 different freezer temps . Itll be interesting to know the temperature and time cap on freezing . I would assume nitro is the best as it will damage less of the muscle fibres
How it was frozen, i.e. flash freezing or chucking into a freezer, and how long it has been frozen (sublimation) will matter a lot. A flash frozen one-week-old steak can be comparable to a fresh one.
That's funny I came here to say the same thing lol but flash frozen is a specific kind of freezing method versus just tossing it into your home freezer, correct?
