    Thank you very much for an excellent tutorial! The current software version works well with Rasberry Pi 4 Model B.

    I disagree with your comment on pricing. I have searched the signage market for an 8bscreen system. This is the most affordable signage product on the market. The first two screens are free. This is great for testing and proof of concept work. The number of add-on modules is very large and broad. Pisignage is not the simplest product on the market but it is the best!

    Is there a graphic design application in the software or does it just deploy pictures/videos? I am looking to add RSS feeds also. Thanks for the video.

    Nice, thank you. If we are using more than one monitor, do we need a player for each monitor or we can connect all monitors to one player but run differen show on each monitor? For example restaurant menu.

      It's one screen and one player. You can't run two screens off a single player. :-)

    Sat thru this tutorial for a "FREE" Raspberry Pi Digital Signage, only to find out it's not free as advertised. It costs money.

      Not sure where you're looking as it's still 100% FREE for 2 player licenses and subscription free for lifetime. 🙂

    Thanks for the help. You really made it easy to do for a first timer.
    What software do you use to make your digital display slides/graphics?

    • @FrimleyComputing
      @FrimleyComputing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      George McD - we use an open source image editor Gimp. It’s fairly easy to use and is ideal for the basics.

    Did you use a regular consumer TV? Which one if so? Thanks

    • @FrimleyComputing
      @FrimleyComputing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should avoid an OLED TV and go for a QLED TV which does not exhibit burn in on static images. The one we used was a SAMSUNG QE65Q80RATXXU 65" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR QLED TV. It works well with pisignage, although we only used HDMI 1080 output and not 4K for our PiSignage content.
