I THINK NO MATTER WHAT THE REASON FOR THE IMPEACHMENT, if it is a counsil member involved they should be removed from the council for the time being........... ITS PRETTY EASY to tell if ppl are just making up bullshit impeachments or not.... and when you have as much evidence against Siobhan as the PD does, THE COUNCIL should go to the pd and ask "is their any REAL evidence to back this impeachment" AND IF THERE IS!!!! then they should be removed from council until the impeachment is solved.... and IF NOT.... then they can stay UNTIL THERE ISSSSS REAL EVIDENCE.

Uhh... weird how much crane pushed back on all of this. Now he is actually doing all of it because it is obviously needed. Why tf did he roll his eyes and act like everyone was complaining to him for no reason? Especially when he supposedly set everything up so that things could be argued and added to. Yet when people came to him, he acted like everything was just fine and that people were not reading his mind. They were reading the legislation which is super vague in places.
It would be one thing if the lack of suspension moved something in the plot along. It just feels like bullshit. Which it is. In character and out of character. Max gets nothing out of this because hes quit streaming GTA(allegedly). Siobhan gets nothing except the attempt to draft more vexatious laws that will be destroyed anyways.
The Purpose of a System is What it Does. This system does not facilitate much roleplay. Almost all the roleplay had to be initiated from outside the council and was bouncing off the mayor and his wife. Crane and Murphy both have messed up the flow of Lawyer RP, DOC RP, and Judicial RP. Max and Siobhan have been blocking business RP, though some of it is justified in character through the Chang Gang grudge. I would mention the others if their participation was particularly noteworthy but as far as I know they mostly have just gone with the flow here.
Honestly, on paper, the idea of the council is great. I think they'd have to make major changes for it to be good in practice though. They'd have to let the mayor get 2 votes (so there's a reason to even be the mayor), they'd have to completely wipe this council clean and have entirely new people next time, there would have to be the same ooc "no corruption" rule for all of them (maybe except for the mayor, because even if it's just the mayor and the person they bring in, that's still 5 votes against them), everyone has to at least *try* to be unbiased and make decisions for the betterment of the city, and they have to be held accountable by everyone (other council members and the admins).
Will Angles new position come into play here at all?

I stand with what Richard in CG says that council will never be good for the servers health as long as 1 the meetings are held in character so they are never able to discuss the ways mechanics can affect decisions and 2 the council will never be good for the server health because they lack having side of the "crims" who make up most the server in the first place
