Had a wonderful time at my first GenCon. Loved visiting with you, Grant, Brent, Kerry, and everyone at the Columbia Games booth. Bucket list item marked off! Thanks for all you and the rest of the Columbia Games folks do to promote the best, most realistic fantasy world and game ever and keep the quality so high.
Thank you, for the report Jim. Lifelong supporter of Columbia Games from the first time days they opened up for business. I have had a long-term relationship with Tom and continued with Grant. What a great family and the whole team of folks that are involved are amazing people.
Yes, I have the original Chivalry and Sorcery and have used the FGU products with Harn way back in the day. These are all very well aligned offerings to tie into together. Awesome job, Steve - way to think beyond the box - and open things up.
I have played HarnWorld with AD&D, Rolemaster, D&D 3.5, and HarnMaster. I love that you are promoting other systems for HarnWorld, Pendragon is a lot of fun, Ars Magica might be a fit for a wizard-centric game, CoC Dark Ages and all the other systems you listed and more.
Kingdom Death is HUGE on Kickstarter. It made 2 million in 2016, then 12 million with the 1.5 version. The base game is $400. Mostly for people who love painting miniatures and playing an immersive solo campaign presented in a beautifully illustrated choose-your-own story book. The player controls the destiny of a primitive tribe and must make choices that will impact their survival and evolution later in the game.
@@CastleArchon Indeed! A friend of mine buys everything KD. He paints very well. We played a few multi-player games. It's fun but not enough for me to buy in.
Yes - Pendragon would be a fantastic marketing and cross-promoting relationship. And yes, ICE and Rolemaster are fantastic (been with it since inception), plus my son has written for them. Another great partner/promotion to work on.
@@GaddisGaming wow that's really impressive. I guess the reason why they don't want to go into retail stores is because they'd rather get more money by people ordering it direct
Trevor from Me, Myself and Die is a great guy. And his new RPG is going to be very cool.
He is a cool dude and worthy of all the success!

And thank YOU for continuing to support us so we can continue doing exactly that!

It's a wild mix of people from all around. With Grant holding the reigns, he is trying to get more talent in.

Did you have Space Opera from FGU? How about Bushido?
@@CastleArchon Yes I have them. And Space Opera is/was one of my absolute favorites. 😊
Jim - your sized dynamic - so no worries - you are awesome!
I don't usually mind it because I am so used to it from my perspective. Just seeing it in pictures always throws me.

@@mrgunn2726 yeah, it's going to be a lot of fun to do.
It was great seeing you again this year.
Right back at'cha Bryon!

Yeah, that is one heck of an investment to get started.

@@marccaron6008 I think it's got to be a miniatures thing overall.

I can;t wait to get started! I just have some post-Gen Con promotions to get moving first.
I think it was like a 2 or 3 million Kickstarter for Kingdom death monster

I really Like Pendragon. I always run a game or two.
#kingdomDeath I've played it a couple of times. Very dark and a lot of fun. Sort of like the TFT programed adventures - reading events form the text.
