Dude you're a life saver! I had my transmission rebuilt on my 05 Tahoe and they must have switch the wires by accident because the front and rear sensors have the same plug. I switched them like you did in the video and that fixed my p1133 code. Would have never thought that could have been it it'll I watched this video.
That diagnostic you kept offering he should have took it. Sound like you gave it to figuring wideband and “O2” sensors and connections resolved. Great work sir
The first O2 sensor you got from the parts store was also an upstream sensor. There were two different types of upstream sensors used on the 4.8/5.3L trucks; the case-grounded sensor, which is what this truck had from the factory, (with the flat 4 pin connector) is a Delphi sensor, used on US built trucks. The isolated-ground sensor (square 4 pin connector) is a Denso sensor, used on Canadian built trucks. They're both upstream, just have to make sure you get the correct one.
Hector ! Akilous was looking 4 you and wanted to know if you can fix his Flux-Capacitor on his Chariot. Love your Shows young man you are very Talented, keep up the good work.
I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 with 5.2. Pulls a po171 code lean bank one slow response. I have replaced every sensor , vacuum leaks, idle control valve, catalytic converter, gasket under throttle body. Mas sensor. Can undo battery put back on truck runs great for fifty miles engine light comes on idles up and down, gets 5 mpg and reads lean bank one code. There's nothing else to replace that I know of. Help. Short term fuel reads 32.5 long term 0.0.
ah que scotty kilmer, hey good video as always , when u get time do some using your scanner using bidirectional when you fine the time, thanks from michigan.
You mean “fool” proof? 😂 Stretching wire/harness should have been second hint after looking at one part at a time to compare to make sure it matches part just pulled out. Just sloppy workmanship on the part of the mechanic. Actually, I think third and final check wasn’t done - confirm repair before shipping out.

Thank you! I don't know if I would have ever figured this out on my own. You're clearly a knowledgeable guy! Much appreciated.
excellent work my friend, this sets apart mechanics from technicians. You are that good!!!

Thanks for the video Hektor. Too funny, someone transposed the o2 sensors. Good find.
My man hektor is back
Waaaaaaah! I didn’t win! 😢 That’s okay - I still win because you teach me so much. 👍🔧

Im currently having trouble w my 02 avalanche 5.3....B2S1..i believe these trucks only have 3 O2s...unless dual exhaust. Gr8 vid HekTOR!!!
Hi hector im always watching your video keep it up👍👍👍 from dubai😁
Which scanner are you using in this video?

Good job
Cuban-American here in Daytona.
Hmm seems like bad design to be able to plug in both connectors even if they’re different. Need to make things fool proof.

Good luck everyone
