I literally think they based the Mugetsu form off of the Manga and Anime where Ichigo is a whole dimension above everyone meaning it's near Impossible to interact with him in that state

You cant Counter Mugetsu since it was coded to "kill you instantly" not deal insane damage that kills you. Counter moves only works on attack that deals damage. In this case Giorno survived cause his move was coded so that it DOES NOT let him die when he's using it.
You can literally avoid a fire ball that obliterates you inside the hitbox but you can't avoid a Mugetsu even thought it's 10 times thinner than Flame Emperor and the Mugetsu in the anime.
To be fair rtzing mugetsu or end in a public lobby would be worse than just dying because not only does it remove your mode, but also completely empty your awakening bar
What would it be otherwise lol In a long-term battle sure, ppl would be able to escape kamui because it just sends them to another dimension, but in a fast-paced battle it's effectively removing them from the fight, so being a oneshot is appropriate.

If I cannot protect them from the wheel,then give me a strong blade, and enough strength, to shatter fate”. It's foreshadowing that his true bankai ability will be to shatter fate.
Landing a down smash with gon's end kills (also you must hit end first because the game always makes gons end to hit twice so you somehow time it right, also I was messing around gons end so I didn't record it :( )
RTZ obviously will counter Mugetsu, even in a "canonical" fight, GER will just either draw or win. Sadly, GER is unbeatable unless Araki confirms that GER is temporal and not eternal.
