“Screw the working man” no way to get 1.3 mil xp when you can only play 2-3 days a week. Missing out on 60-75k xp a week. That means I’m already minimum 180k xp behind.
Oh and btw. The Two virtual packs that were added are $60 worth of stubs. VIRTUAL CARDS!!

I am one of those that love Conquest grinding. they need to put more repeatable rewards in the USA map. I remember grinding for those prospect players all season and selling to get some stubs to finish my collection.
Yup same . They got greedy. Put a stop to that real fast .
Last year we had the Jazz map that was smaller and had repeatable rewards that you could grind quicker than the usa map. We need something like that.
@@cortneypalmer3808 you have something like that: TA S1 mini season. If you play 9 games, you can get something like 23 regular packs and 2 BiaH packs. It’s repeatable. Downfall is you have to use Ta S1 players, so you can’t PxP your chosen cards simultaneously. But, it’s an easy 9 games.
Or the Run it Back Showdown in '21, I kept doing that and selling those cards.

They screwed up on the storylines, every Negro league storyline should have been released by now so that we can use tier 3 on the captain boost to make them somewhat usable. The same with the jeter storyline. Also, the power creep is a fail so far because it’s going up so fast that it’s pointless to waste stubs on these cards. That’s the only reason why I don’t care about most of the card being in packs because in a week or 2 the power creep will plummet their values. There is no point buying packs until 99s are in packs. You are right about everything you said
The "added" storylines also disappear after you complete them. So if you wanted to replay them later you can't.

At this point I am done with H2H so I definitely log in to play mini seasons until I hit the XP cap and then log off immediately. Sad state of affairs. I would love to see them stagger BR, Events and Ranked so that they don’t all reset on the same day.
Last year i rarely hit the xp cap its really annoying i dont play everyday so i wont be able to finish the programs. I have hit it everyday ive played now fast
I agree, make a program that also includes at least one pack of what’s available in the store, include a vault pack or a pipeline pack in a program or conquest map, at least give us the opportunity to pull one card free
100% with you on the state of the game and your proposed solutions. I don’t do a lot of online and have nothing to do, outside of it. All the nation of baseball conquest rewards were really underwhelming. I’ve never used any of those cards and am NMS.
All I know is sds did a solid job killing their game one month in shit not even a month in😂😂😂😂😂
The only reason I see to do storylines is to get cards for the core collection. It’s a cool game mode but I agree the cards should be at least 90s
It’s the lack of content combined with the number of cards behind packs only. There was a time I’d play the game and earn progress on programs I had no clue I was working on. Now affinity / topps now programs all done and waiting on content….. surprised they took such a step back
It’s usually not until late summer or early Fall that I get kinda tired of MLB content. It’s already happened this year. The XP cap just makes it so restrictive on when and how much I can play. I’m at 300K but I’m burned out with no opportunity to take a break and catch up on a weekend because of the cap. Every thing about MLB is just headed in a bad direction. Going forward I’m just gonna do the programs and storylines and perhaps get back into franchise. Sadly, I’ve already spent money and completed the Live Series. Frankly, SDS lets things escalate because of their terrible lack of communication. Changes in economy would be slightly easier to swallow if the game itself was improved in some way. It’s basically the same game it was years ago playwise and graphically.
Last year I was done after the first month. This year I quit DD right after the first week and a hlaf. I only play offline, personally hate any online play. Plus I am not paying Sony extra $140 to play a mode I hate and for a sercive that I never use. There are two things that broke the camels back for me to quit DD. The egg hung, where you have to play online to complete, not happening with me. Then forcing me to consider buying a pack and giving me no other way to achieving it. I am done with DD. It is getting worse and wosre every year you play the mode. I am now tinkering with Fanchise, which in a sence is the same thing as last year. And over all I am playing even that less and less. Sad SDS, Sad. Maybe they need to see the numbers of game players go down super fast to see that again they made a mistake. But I don't have confidence they will see the writing on the wall. One last thing, you mentioned changes that you hope they will make. Personally I don't thing they will every go off their initial plans with this years game. It won't be untill next year you hear that they will say, they are listening to the communitee. But how much are they really listening is the big question. If I didn't love baseball so much, I would have be done completly with game by now. And that love for the game of baseball is slipping too.
I think it would be great idea if there’s xp cap in every different game modes of the game example , mini season conquest ,ranked , coop and battle royal , that way we stay more in the games instead of leaving after getting that exp cap
I do not mind 88 but the 2nd to last card should be a 90 then the last 91/2 -- it's simple and the fact SDS cannot grasp this blows my mind. SDS for the most part always seemed to balance free ( Cards to Earn ) and packs pretty well for the most part up until this year. I am going to be blunt except for the easter program and TA the rest has been underwhelming -- PERIOD -- XP cap should be higher then 15k per day -- Now going to be honest I have yet to hit it but I feel myself holding back a little almost afraid to hit it. I tell myself IF i hit it I will just do the mini seasons pack grind but without some XP towards the path it kind of feels lackluster.
The xp cap sucks. Yes, it would be better weekly. The bigger problem is the grind isn’t fun. Not only did they slash earned xp, added a low daily cap, but they kept the painfully slow xp reward path full of garbage rewards that no one cares about like banners and other useless unlockables. There’s too few packs and stubs. The cards won’t be usable by the time you get to them either. It’s just not fun. Yes, when I hit the cap, I stop playing because I’m not going to play a game I’m not getting rewarded for. This is the worst version of this game I’ve ever played and it’s not close.

Alright so when the video started i thought the game was in a good spot. You changed my mind. I like to grind and i hate the xp cap. When i hit the cap i put the game down. The 88 overalls we have been getting just dont cut it. The paywalls are trash and stubs are really hard to make.
Last update demotivated me. Same with the xp limit
Can someone explain why people are letting me win in ranked games? I mean, they are legit bunting every turn at bat and letting me score inside the park homeruns every time I put the ball in play... this has happened about 3-4 times already and I'm just curious if there is a specific reason they are doing this. The scores are usually 25-1.

Xbox has bot accounts that do that.
@@Bhlademyst appreciate the response but I'm pretty sure these players are not bots. These people will legit move their outfielders out of the way of pop up fly balls to make sure the ball stays in play and will intentionally throw around the bases when I have runners on base to avoid tagging them out and to make sure I score easy runs.
Any reason players are intentionally letting me win like that that you may know of?
If the xp cap turns to weekly there would be no point of me playing after I hit the cap keep it daily or remove it

I quit playing 1 month in last year and then came back to the game at the end of the season. I did not like how they would increase game difficulty to the point it was not playable or fun. I do not like a 100mph fb coming in on me appearing like its 200mph. Game felt like no matter where you attempt to line the ball up with your pci it was programmed for you to miss. As of right now I have 100 points in ranked season. Once I achieved that game became way too difficult. I also have hit a pefect perfect with trout and it was an out at the warning track. This happened 3 games in a row. Turner I hit well with...very good card man now seems to have a different swing and feel is very different. Game feels too tilted too opponent 99% of time. Game seems like it predetermined already for who gets the win. I hate that man but thats what I've been experiencing. As soon as I completed the affinity program too game difficulty increased . I guess logging into game every day is a bad move. I won't be doing that now.
That was a big paragraph to just say your not too good at the game yet just play offline and slowly up the difficulty
I’m honestly good with less grindy content. In past years I always felt like if I wasn’t directly progressing a new program, I was falling behind. I would get on after work / school just to do random bs tasks and have no time for online.
Storylines should be seasonal; enticing players to earn them for collection progress.
I’m fine with the packs, just give us one in the corresponding programs.
Totally agree with the XP cap. Don’t think there should be one, remove it or change to weekly.
I’m so sick of the grind moments it’s so boring.

Remember: this is what “the people” wanted. Last year’s game (which I actually thought was the best yet) was met with such vitriol from so many people that SDS went and over-corrected.

Just like everything else. When you waste time on woke sht the product will suffer. The time spent on that female rtts bullsht could have been better spent fixing issues or adding other meaningful content.
The second part to it is that SDS has completely gone full EA on the packs. You used to be able to earn the 40k packs they were selling in the store. Now you get a free "Millionaire pack"
The third part is the XP cap and the fact that you need a million xp just to earn the boss. I know they said its a "progression" but its kind of ridiculous imo

I knew sds was catering to woke crap when I saw the panel discussion they at release. When I saw those two female or whatever they are suppose to be, I stopped the video. Soon I’ll boycott sds. Learn from what happened to Disney, target, Tyson, Budweiser etc. don’t test us
There's way more issues beyond just being "woke", that's just a soundbite. Your other points are legitimate but being able to play as a woman doesn't make the game any better or worse.
