- 'My Desk Fan', from Brookstone. I received this as a gift for my birthday sometime in the very early 2010s. It's quite a unique design, modeled after a particular vintage fan which I cannot remember the name of at this time. It's very quiet and moves a reasonable amount of air for something intended for personal use. Unfortunately there does not appear to be any way to service it, and it's starting to need some fresh oil in the bearings.

I remember Brookstone. We used to have one at our local mall. Back in the 1980s we bought a might light there, it was one of the first sensor night lights. With the photocell.
The fan you referred to was the caframo chinnok they still make them, but they have been making them since the 60s
Yeah that looks like the Caframo Chinook.
That was the one I had in mind.
Brookstone now only exists online and in airports. I remember going there at my local malls and finding out they were going bankrupt. I was sad because I enjoyed looking at what they had to offer, as well as getting massages in their massage chairs.
Thanks for letting me know.
A local Mall called the crystal mall in waterford CT there use to be a brookestone store but closed back in 2018
Thanks for letting me know.
That is such a cool 2 bladed fan bro seems very powerful for it's size and i enjoyed the video
Glad you enjoyed it bro.
reminds me of the camfaro dragonfly fan
Me as well, though the one I had in mind during the video was the Caframo Chinook.
I believe brookstone is just an online thing now. No more physical stores.
Thanks for letting me know.
Yes brookstone is a brand still

I remember I had a Brookstone floating pen. I wonder if I still have that pen now.
They were a similar to The Sharper Image.

I can't wait to see the servicing video of this fan soon and balancing the blades also bro

I'm not sure if there will be one as it doesn't appear it can be disassembled, but perhaps one day I'll try.
I believe the fan from the 60s that you mentioned is the Samson foam bladed fan
The one I had in mind was the Caframo Chinook.
I bet the screws are hiden or its different way
They could be, or it may be press fit together.
I like it
OK
I think the super fan man has 2 of them one black and the other white.
Thanks for letting me know.
Did you steal this from someone?
You can't be serious...
I have the Caframo version of that fan in black.
Thanks for letting me know.
Caframo chinok

@@JordanU They are still making these fans.
