- Filmed in July 2024, this was my second visit to the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius where I captured more Skoda 14Tr trolleybuses of varying ages, along with a variety of Solaris Urbino and Trollino vehicles.

Great video Adam. Especially liked the Skoda trolleybuses. The 3 axle ones made me think of the similar MAN ones I saw on a visit to Solingen, Germany, back in 1994. One of the routes there goes off into open countryside, with a manually pushed turntable at the terminus.
Thank you John. I didn't capture that many Skoda's this time round, so have booked to go again next month :) those turntables really are interesting, especially manual ones :) hope you're keeping well?

Fine thanks, usual aches and pains. Kids growing up very fast and mostly independent. We were in the UK back in April and I stayed on an extra week by myself, staying at a friends a few streets from where I used to live. Did a video about the electric buses in Leicester.
We're currently down in the Dordogne. I came down via bus, tram and TGV. Last week was mid 30's so a bit unbearable. A lot cooler now.
How have you been doing? Looks like you've been making some interesting visits.
I am so jealous of anyone who managed to film skodas in Vilnius since it was one of the last paradise of old 14tr's in the world. I'm pretty sure all of them will be retired very soon, and it's so far away for me that I have never been able to go there. At least I live close to Szeged which is also one of the last strongholds of skodas, but there are only 15tr's left.
@@maxim_077 I would hope they retain some in a preserved state for future generations. Good to know where to go next for 15tr trolley buses 😃 when I first visited Vilnius in 2022, I managed to catch the last remaining 15Tr in Vilnius.
