This was my favourite from the beginning, but I didn't expect it to win. However, many people who had planned to vote for some other entry after the videos were published, have said, that they failed to impress them in live performance, but Windows95Man exceeded all the expectations, so they switched their support for him, and that's how he won. Of course there are (always) some people who are dissapointed, but you must remember, that this got more televotes from the audience than any other performance, so it was clearly the public favourite, even though the juries didn't care about it that much. I expect it will get many televotes in the semifinal, as well, and will easily qualify to final, but probably will be spit on by the juries in actual final.
omg -i love this staging - that is so entertaining.💛💚💙❤.. and the song is so melodic.... i m thrilled that chorus singer hits so good and fast the complicated high notes.... .. in a year of wars... pandemia... this is so refreshing... bringing us back to the good ole 90ies
So much effort and care went into the staging for No Rules! Windows95man is also a visual artist so everything from the camera angles, lighting, stage moments are all carefully crafted to make us have fun and laugh. I think that's why it's earned a lot of fans and people change their vote on the night. I hope it does well, as I always hope the songs that aren't too serious succeed. The United Kingdom jury gave it 12 points at UMK and they have Australia voting in the First Semi-Final (our jury often loves an exciting show as was evident last year when Gustaph was given our 12 points).
der furchtbarste Song den Finnland je zum ESC geschickt hat. Das ist auch kein Spaß Song für mich. So was hätte in die 90er gut gepasst, als der ESC als Spaß Contest, den eh niemand ernst nimmt, abgestemmpelt wurde. Ein Schlag ins Gesicht für Länder wie Italien, Frankreich und dergleichen die jedes Jahr sehr gute Lieder zum ESC schicken. Leider gibt es ja heuer keine Jurys mehr in den Semi Finals. Es entscheidet nur mehr das Tele Voting. Ich fürchte deshalb das der Song ins Final einzieht, dann aber ziemlich von der Jury abgestraft wird. Das gleiche gilt übrigens heuer auch für Irland und für Estland.
