- My friend Mike @shinmikeyin has bought himself the most insane sounding car ever, a Pagani Zonda R! It's one of only 15 in the world, with a screaming V12, a hypercar for the track but I don't think I've previously heard one revving in a garage... with added flames... wow!
Mike and I have caught up a number of times in previous years during my trips to LA, from having my ears blown away by his straight pipe LaFerrari, to going out in the Pagani Huayra BC and Koenigsegg Agera RS Phoenix. This time around, knowing the Zonda R had just arrived, I was wise enough to bring some ear plugs with me for the carnage ahead...
The Pagani Zonda R is one of the ultimate gentlemen track cars, with a 6.0l naturally aspirated V12 that puts out 750hp, but crucially being a car for the circuit does not have anything to restrict the sound, just a perfect exhaust system that screams like no other.
After a quick look at the new car, it's time to take a listen and be partially deafened by it in the process thanks to some revs and flames thrown out the back. There's no question that the sound is out of this world!
After putting the engine cover back in place, which is a job on its own requiring many hands and the right sequence of steps, let's also check out the other cars in Mike's garage such as the Pagani Huayra BC, Pagani Huayra Roadster, Koenigsegg Agera RS Phoenix and the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster tuned running an IPE exhaust, Mansory wheels and Mansory body kit.

Zonda's are standing the test of time, they still look fresh as the day they came out! Truly a timeless classic!

That is how all Pagani cars should sound! Maybe not as loud..but definitely the pitch. Pagani has become one of my favorites..the attention to detail, the looks, the power. It just checks a lot of boxes for me! That BC is gorgeous! If only I could win the lottery...✌️

When it comes to theatre, Pagani is pretty unmatched. What an incredible machine that is, and I always love that even though you see many in your line of work, you're always super excited and full of enthusiasm like its your first time seeing one.

What an epic lineup of art, emotion and pure power. Plus such warm and grounded people sharing their passion. The Zonda R also appears here in the reflection at certain angles in a soft-focus effect, as if it were not from this earth. Thank you both for this presentation of another masterpiece!
I've had the chance to visit the pagani factory in bologna and these Zonda R's are just magnificent. This is the peak combination of art and motorsport.

This car is a pure racecar, it's so aggressive to the point that many tracks themselves would not allow this beast to roar to life due to the immensely high decibels produced from the absolutely monstrous V12.

Thank god the Huayra R is naturally aspirated. It has 100 more horsepower than the Zonda R... I can't begin to imagine the noise.
The huayra is nowhere near as loud as the Zonda R. One of the reasons it's not road legal is because it's too loud and would cause noise pollution and it doesn't have indicattors etc.. it's a full on race car

I see how pagani has the safety windshield that can be taken apart incase of a rollover or fire 🔥 i think alot of supercars should have a windshield like this. Its a total masterpiece and I can imagine how the sound from this car will bounce off the clouds

I was in Miami last year visiting family and me and my cousin were cruising the highway and all of a sudden a car goes screaming past us like we were standing still. He had to slow down there was a Florida Sheriff sitting on the side of the road and it was a Pagani Huyrua!! Me and my cousin freaked out. Such a beautiful car to see in person. Couldn't see who was driving it but I did see the hot blonde sitting in the passenger seat.
