favorite video so far, this was some breathtaking spearfishing. the intro was killer, sharks were super cool, and you place laser shots every time. good stuff
Excellent footage, bro. As a serious Spearo myself, I'd love to hear more specific details about shaft/band setups, depth ranges, hunting techniques, and little details you acquire after diving a new spot or trying out new gear/setups. I just did a full rig on my new RA Tuna 90 Roller last night and I had trouble making sure the saddles & bridle were both perfectly equidistant to avoid uneven band power. Any tips on how to ensure that your bands are cut even and your saddles/bridle are inserted equally? Thanks bro. Keep up the good work and safe diving!
Could you explain a little what the role of that reflective “lure” you have hanging off the surface is? I am a grouper hunter and only now starting my blue water stuff so want to learn!
We use those flashers mainly to attract Pelagic species like Onos or mahi mahi from a far. We use them while doing drifts when we are doing drops to the bottom mainly for ukus. The flashers also do bring up the uku in some areas but it’s mainly to get those bigger pelagic species interested while we are chumming up the water.
Another good one. I'm stoked you're growing but can only help but be jealous. Like you said, It's a lot of work, but imagine including music and picking the right footage that compliments the music, timing shots to hits in the songs and then adjusting colors so transitions are easy on the eyes, also blending motion into transitions.... I spend a ridiculous amount of time on my videos and just watch my sub count go up tiny amounts. I invest tons of money in editing and filming equipment, my boat and all the costs that go with that. And all I need to do is moderate? It's difficult and uncomfortable for someone who has social communication issues, has an 8 year old daughter and a full time job. One day I'll be able to put more effort into it. If you ever come to Oahu, hit me up. Always got plenty room on my boat.
