Very cool! Nice tips on using PP that I was not even aware of. BTW DPO makes a nice kick drum :-)

Hey! I want a big knob on my Morphagene! Great idea. I wonder if it would make it harder to keep it in the green though. Which is already difficult without an outside attenuverter

No, in fact it's much easier to keep it in the green, that was the whole point. It kept drifting off while making the video, and the big knob really helps.

      @@CinematicLaboratory You added that knob?

@@willhurt3446 Well, I took it from my QPAS. You can get them at Thonk. I have to order a few extra myself...

Do you know why Make Noise retired Brains? I had to order it to make PP usable as a sequencer in my Shared System which sucked because the SS was over 4k as it was and having to spend another $100 to make PP usable was lame.

Sorry to hear you feel that way. Many of the MN gear is modelled after Westcoast designs so PP was meant to be a human interface. I don't feel PP is unusable without Brains but I understand what you mean...

Is it possible to clock pressure points so it runs as a step sequencer via any clock source and do the pads have the Same functionality as ears?

Yes, but you'll need to add a Brains module. You can compare the pads with Ears pads, they output four touch envelopes and gates.

This patches are so inspiring.. I wonder how do you finally imagine this things... where is your inspiration comes from or how do you do it... Great job as always.
is Pressure points an under-rated module? I miss more videos about it+brains

Thanks for watching the series! Well, I think Pressure Points is a crucial module in the Shared System. I feel I did plenty of videos with PP+Brains. Here's one: th-cam.com/video/qihnWRRzYXE/w-d-xo.html
And I personally like the Analog Memories video a lot. th-cam.com/video/CEUjR3j4_a8/w-d-xo.html

As for my 'workflow', I pick a module as a starting point, and just fool around until I find something that sounds great. Then I get my camera and try to explain/remember how I did it. Working on a modular is a bit like sculpting, about finding something nice in a shapeless rock. I've been working on a new video for a couple of days now and it sucked. So that happens too! A lot!

@@CinematicLaboratory I like all of your videos.. When I said that about pressure points I was not referring to your videos, but in general. Said that.. I really love every time that I see a new patch idea from your shared system :)
