i never really thought about it but that line could be a reference to speedrunners, not doing anything that will lose time.
They should make an Ellie% or high-five percent where you high-five Ellie as fast as possible
5 seconds can make a difference in speed runs -- he doesn't know if he'll mess up later and those 5 seconds are a good cushion to have

I know exactly why this record happened and it's becuase it was one of those runs where Ant is completely relaxed and not bothered/worried about the result of the run. RNG was also very decent but I'd say it's mostly due to Ant's confidence.

@@Dardek Yeah I also got stuck there, especially in the fight against the bloater. Just be careful with your resource management, dont use the molotov until you are fighting the bloater. Also save as many arrows as you can, you are gonna need them.

Because of you, i got the platinum after 5 years of adventure, i had multiple glitches that ruined my save datas, you helped me a lot, even now i can finish the game on Grounded about 4 hours and half, Thank you.

@@babbisp1 the grounded one, helped me to save a lot of resources, my gameplay is a little bit more slower than him, cause i need to search on every area about an item craft to make my weapons, in Hospital alone, i just used one smoke bomb and one bow, you need to be patient, very patient.
@@Zain_Zakri yeah i just used the grounded reverse method cuz it was too hard for me. Luckily it only took 2 days. Good job for doing it the normal way

I finished this game twice already, but these videos now made me want to finish it in Grounded mode!
I admire Anthony's patience in seeing these scenes that can't skip, like the Intro, for so many years, but everything has its reward and the WR is proof of that.

Found this channel a couple weeks ago, and was already super anxious in the final 20 minutes of the run. Glad I came here.
I started watching this channel with the singular thought of "fuck, why did I bother and pick shiv master?" and ended up heavily invested in seeing a man shave seconds off of a certain type of run for a certain difficulty mode of a certain game.... congratulations Mr. Caliber.

So close to beating grounded currently . I was never a fan of the gameplay but your videos really show both what I really like (and dislike) about these games . The weird glitches and bugs are always hilarious to see

I played 10 minutes of survivor on 1 clicker and than gave up. I can't imagine playing grounded let alone speedrunning it

I don't know if you knew or mentioned this glitch but in the capitol when you take the rifle (normal way) and go forward and then go into Cover when the enemys arrive and restart Checkpoint, you still have the rifle but there is still the other rifle which lies on the corpse.
So you have 6 bullets for the rifle instead of 3.
Watching this again after watching the unpatched PS5 runs feels so good

Hi.
I'm trying to learn to play this game a bit more efficiently, and I have to thank you for this incredible gameplay. I'm busy taking my first run, but I tend to miss shots, and when you reset the enemy behaviour is different. Do you have any suggestions for that? I had to come-up with my own methods of responding to checkpoint resets, but I'd really appreciate some advice.
