She would've won the duel regardless

Snape is the most heroic character from the whole series IMHO. He does what is necessary for even though you can see what he has to do for good to win kills a part of him everytime he does them. I dare say very few heck maybe no other character from the movie is strong enough to do what he had to do. Snape is one of my absolute favorite movie characters in all of moviedom
RIP Maggie Smith (and Alan Rickman) 😢💔
Love both of them and they both had duties and did them. The way they could. ❤
When you find out that snape was actually on there side it breaks your heart seeing his face when mcgonagall try’s to fight him, he got made out to be the enemy all because he was loyal to dumbledore
Right? 😢
She looked unnerved when she started attacking
They both look devastated to abandon the mutual respect they had for each other as colleagues.
I love how McGonagall stares at him like "TRY IT."
Snape had the biggest plot twist ever 😢 "always"
Dying a virgin?
If you now ....she died today sadly REST IN PEACE 😢
He took the wands from the other two before he goes off…
Protecting Harry and the other students again
The Bravest character I’ve ever seen in any story I’ve ever indulged in. BRAVEST. always.
The look on Snapes face after her first spell. He's heartbroken. ;-;
My favorite scene. R.I.P both❤
I always liked the hesitation at the beginning.
