    As a Finnish person who has lived in Spain, I'd like to give an advice. When you move to a new country there is typically three stages on how you feel about your new place of stay. The first stage is like a honeymoon, everything feels great and awesome, new and exciting. After some time the next stage is the culture shock: you will find some things difficult to understand and/or get frustrated because problems you'll face feel overwhelming. For instance, learning new language takes a lot of time and because of that, at some point you will feel alone and isolated. Even if you learn a lot in the beginning you will not understand the language as well as the locals. Just don't blame yourself for it. If you feel exhausted take a pause for a while, like a break from all the learning process and do something easy for a while. Like spend some time with other Russians living there. Not too long time though, just to have some rest from all "information overload" you will experience. Living in a country where most of the people don't speak your mother tongue takes its toll. Unfortunately many locals in any country don't understand it because they haven't experienced it themselves.
    The third stage is when you still love all the great the aspects of your new home country, things that are different from your original country, but also accept that some things were better in country you were born. And there is some bad and annoying things in the current place you are living in. At this stage you accept both good and bad of your new situation, but it is preferable to focus on the good. If you plan to move away again, it is better to do at this stage after some serious consideration. I don't recommend to move at the second stage, because at that point your point of view is not as objective. If you give up on your new country at the second stage you may end up regret it later on. Anyways, I hope you will have great time settling in Costa Rica! Cheers from Finland!

      Do not be naive. You have very kind heart but you are naive. I am of slavic origins myself, but I claim that russian and ukrainian womeb are among most pragmatic in the world. In negative way.
      This is not her final goal and destinatiom I think she wants to move to Usa or Canada when she gets a chance. Pay attention to relative proximity of Costa Rica to Canada and Usa.
      These kind of people always leave the boat (family, friends, country...) when bad times come.

I am an English teacher in Costa Rica and I even incorporated a few of your videos into lessons for students here in Costa Rica. For that reason, my students know a few things about your story already. At first, I could not imagine why you would come to this country. But on second thought, I realized that you might have been attracted to this country because of the abundance of traditional family-owned farms that there are here. Hey, I'm actually impressed you decided to come live in Costa Rica. I'm a local here. While I get why many people think Costa Rica is beautiful, please be safe and be careful. Many factors have contributed to a decline in overall security, especially in rural areas where many tourists visit yearly and sadly most victims are women. Find some good friends and avoid travelling totally alone, but if you must then take every precaution. Hopefully, you will have a great time here. Welcome.

    • @ApexSim
      @ApexSim 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@israelariasfallas2697 When you hear constantly about missing and murdered women, be it local or tourists you can't simply complain about driving people away. Its real people's life what's at stake here, this goes far beyond the image you pretend to give outsiders for what? Political and social-economical reasons? Are you pretending to ignore the lost lifes of raped women at our local beaches that more often than not go into oblivion, without justice being served because of a total lack of reasources and very little will from governing bodies to stick their heads out of their butts? Maybe you are a male that can't see the violence towards women that's becoming the norm here so lets talk about the 19 years old freshman that got stabbed and murdered at one of the busiests places in our capital because some minors felt they wanted his mobile and now they are being brought to the police by their own mothers.
      It is no longer about what "others think" but what needs to be done so people can enjoy and BE safe here, not just by pure luck. Yes, you need to be careful in CR, like in must places, but nothing has been exaggerated. Try telling that to the families who's loved ones came here and never went back.

    I am so so HAPPY for you Anastasia!!!!!!!! Costa Rica is a very friendly country. You are good with languages and I encourage you to learn Spanish. There are many English speakers in some regions of Costa Rica. So your English will help you learn Spanish. Please do be careful. You are a very beautiful young woman. Unfortunately, there are bad people in Costa Rica(and everywhere in the world) as well. So I am glad you are staying on a farm with a nice family. Will you keep bees in Costa Rica? Flowers need pollination there too! ))) I am very happy for you. God Bless you, your family in Russia, and your host family in Costa Rica!...

I am now retired and live in New York. C.R. was a great place to grow up and I enjoy visiting the country and my old school mates there. Although my heart is still there, New York City provides a level of intellectual and social intercourse that is hard to match. But as they say; Pura vida. Disfrute de tu tiempo en Costa Rica.

    Ahh Ana you look so happy! ☺️ what a fascinating journey you’re on. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride. The family who are welcoming you in Costa Rica sound so lovely; a reflection of your projection. I’m sorry to hear your last go at the business didn’t work out, however, I believe all things are meant to be. New opportunities arise from apparent failures, showing us that nothing is a failure, especially when we put our faith and good intentions into it. You have an incredible talent and a magical energy, and with your faith and strength, as well as the universal support you have all around you, and the belief you and your family have in yourself, you are going to go very far and shine brightly in this life. I can tell that you are a healer, and what you put your creative energies into will bring healing and light for others in many ways. You have that special gift, it is clear.. Keep on shining, Ana, and keep the faith. Enjoy Costa Rica! 😉🙏💪☀️

    Costa Rica has a very green grid mostly hydro, wind and geothermal but sadly very little solar. This means that there is a market there for OFF-GRID and GRID-TIE Solar Energy for farms, hotels, houses and a new industries. Any place that has tropical storms is still vulnerable to rely too much on centralised power.
