I heard someone on a tedx say hope is not a strategy, which I agree with. But it’s so exciting to see the next generation take this forward. I don’t care if a medical definition of cure is found in my lifetime but any improvement in symptoms is like gold, to me anyway.

Hi Brett, having PPMS, I rarely see this type of conversation.
I’m glad there are people out there who are thinking this way, remylenation is the “holy grail” for MS.
I wish there was more effort put into it.

    I have few questions.
    1. is the focus on surgical treatment then?
    2. Do you think age of person with ms will be an issue with success of obtaining remylination?
I am very grateful for these videos and the hard work trying to give us a better life. Thank you

what are your thoughts on ATA188 and NVG-291?

Way ahead than this company. While I admire what Dr. Stiles is doing, this company doesn't have anything close to IND status. It'll be 10+ years before anything goes to FDA approval, sadly too late for many of us dealing with mid to late RRMS/SPMS

also, since the EBV seems to be one of the potential causes of MS, what are your opinions on the mRNA 1189 by Moderna?

When can I get this treatment?

Hi Charlotte, thanks for your question. Currently, this therapeutic is still in the early stages of development. If everything continues to look promising, it is hoped that clinical trials may be able to start within the next few years. I recently did an updated Facebook live video with Dr Stiles, which provides further updates on their work in remyelination and current plans. A recording of this broadcast is available on our TH-cam channel. Thanks - Brett
