Would have been even more civilian casualties but yes that would of saved many lives for us. We need the support of the people to wage war/ conflict. @sketchsketchy867 there are things that are called rules of engagement. That means certain criteria has to be met in order to use justifiable force on force in any given situation. The tower constitutes a religious site and religious sites were completely off limits. So if a sniper shacked up in one, which they did many times, no one was allowed to fire upon it. This happened multiple times and was well documented because those cucks would abuse it often.
There still is a huge recruitment problem with the U.S. Army and all branches. Probably frankly because people dont believe in fighting for the country, at least currently (i myself planned on enlisting upon graduation, as i wanted to join the infantry and eventually try and become a ranger [my dreamjob], i myself no longer want to join the military at least at the moment). I myself know some soldiers whom i attended high school with, and the one was apart of the rather horrid extraction of some of our allies from Afghanistan. He left the military very shortly after as he decided he didnt want to be apart of the army anymore, i believe due to the command but also administration. The US' recruitment problem is also only going to get worse for the forseeable future, and especially so if we do get soldiers deployed in Ukraine and very worse when we have our future war with China. If the U.S. has another war in the next 5 years, there will be a draft.

I mean ARMA is literally a military simulator and people used that for all sorts of reasons including dayz... don't see anyone cancelling the game for "propaganda & recruitment". I am just saying! Even CS:GO, COD & Battlefield & others have tailored to the military. I also found it unfortunate you guys seemed disappointed and wanting to refund by the end of it. Though the lack of content for the price is a legitimate concern until more comes and it's out of early access. With the logic I've seen surrounding the controversies around the subject matter of imperialism and war I guess all tactical and shooter, war games should be cancelled lol? No more ready or not, rainbow six, tom clancy anything, SOCOM, insurgency etc? I always found these conversations highly overly controversial when you consider how much we normalize violence, war in videogames and media anyway? I mean videogames like manhunt and all those very disturbing horror and survival horror games exist? Let's ban them and cancel them i guess... cause they have sexual assault themes for example like Silent Hill series? Lots of people die in all wars and conflicts and have since modern human civilizations and beyond, civilians and not alike. Dogs even, cats & animals. I just feel the sentiments around videogames that make people uncomfortable or confused should perhaps have some self reflection and maybe educate themselves more about the actual subject matter. I guess it all depends how you process and react to it when exposed to the triggering aspects of the game or narrative etc, world building. For example those obnoxious cutscenes and pictures you guys slammed were all real people & real events, footage often times who actually went through traumatic events, so it's a bit disrespectful. Some of which actually died, got injured, their whole lives ruined and stuck on drugs from veteran affairs who were useless at the time and still are. I assumed a core aspect of this game was that there were civilians in the missions to make it more difficult and emphasize the tragedy of the situation. Glad I saw some gameplay, been on the fence(already leaning towards not) about buying this.
yeah the game is definitely on its grace period rn so wait like 6 months and it'll probably be way farther in development
the game is not way farther in development yet
Was wondering when the gang was going to play this.
Don’t get me wrong I love your channel but I think it is extremely disrespectful to laugh and make jokes about actual soldiers who lost their lives and suffer ptsd from what they experienced and then say it’s “propaganda”
Lol getting mad about propaganda being rightly identified as propaganda is whack.
That intro‘s terrifying wtf?
I loved America's army game, unfortunately it got shut down this year 😢
Gotta say, I wasn’t expecting this

Same, it's crazy seeing other people's mindsets and whether it's political views or not, there was some definite moments that gave me a feeling of damn, these dudes genuinely don't give a fuck what happened over there. Sucks seeing teo and paddy say some of the shit they did out of no where. Shows how they don't really care if veterans are fans of theirs or not.
@@EL_BEANE_GUY I dont think Teo or anyone of them have a distain for veterans. What we (speaking as a fellow european) hate is this american imperialism and this hyperfixation on the military in your society. For example, recruiting kids inside of highschools. Its weird man.

8:05 I typically play fps games at 90-110 fov… is that bad?
I think that's the normal range people play at, 90 to a little over 100
The FOV in this game is vertical whereas most are horizontal. That's the confusion here I think. Someone in chat did the conversion between the two while he was changing it.
Have a bit of respect it’s all true
Wouldn’t of it been easier to just tell them we are going to take it back and then they all flock there to make it a fort then just level the whole thing
Would have been even more civilian casualties but yes that would of saved many lives for us. We need the support of the people to wage war/ conflict. Our own people and the people we are liberating/ oppressing depending on which way you look at it. Either way most things are done the harder way so we can benefit in the long term
This game has the opening that is needed today. Makes you appreciate what the military is prepared to do. Respect.
The military that is prepared to unjustly invade other countries just to steal their natural resources and kill a million+ people , the respect is overflowing
comment that said the civilians were killed and were angry at that is dumb
why couldnt they shoot at the mineret? If it was me and there were a sniper shooting my guys I would take out the rpg
in real life they would of shot it, just for gameplay purpose they didnt
@@sketchsketchy867you are wrong and need to learn history
@sketchsketchy867 there are things that are called rules of engagement. That means certain criteria has to be met in order to use justifiable force on force in any given situation. The tower constitutes a religious site and religious sites were completely off limits. So if a sniper shacked up in one, which they did many times, no one was allowed to fire upon it. This happened multiple times and was well documented because those cucks would abuse it often.
@EL_BEANE_GUY no? it was being used as a military position so it wasn't a minaret anymore, it was a tower with a sniper?
1:01:23😂❤
That's the problem with hating nationalism.
People think you're being a nazi by liking nationalism.
Although nationalism is what keeps countries alive.
@@ceshmate1953 yeah true. In truth though I think moderation is the most rational solution to most problems. We can argue about if the GWOT was justified all day, but as such with much things, war exists in the gray.

There's also that most younger people have grown up with the whole War on Terror and whatnot hanging over everything, and lots of people who don't think we should have been there in the first place. Who's going to willingly join the army for a war they think is completely wrong, especially with the amount of disillusioned vets telling them how much the army sucks

I've been a fan a long time and never thought I would hear paddy say some of the shit he did so distastefully. Cool to see he's doing okay though I guess.
This battle (and the war at large) was such a waste of human lives. What a horrible loss of a beautiful country and culture. Im glad the boys didnt shy away from the propaganda jokes.
All battles and wars are a waste of human life not just this one. And I can't consider this "propaganda" as it doesn't glorifies the Americans actions or glorifies the war. Besides the city was infact controlled by insurgents and they were pretty much indifferent to the plight of the civilians. Many civilians lost their lives to the American forces in the attacks on the city but a lot more lost their lives to the insurgents extremists who controlled their city.
as an american, it always makes me laugh so hard when teo plays something like this and all the army jokes roll out. anyone who dares take it seriously is so strange lmao
That probably depends. How would you react towards negative jokes about Ukraine for instance? The connection here is these were two wars with false justifications and civilian casualties were over the chart. Apparently half the casualty in Fallujah were civilians, and that's gotta be something at the very least.
@@kenz2756 bro they are playing a GAME. it doesn't matter how i feel about jokes about anything, nor how you feel. people make jokes about literally EVERY major event, but if you cant let go of reality to make jokes IN A GAME, then therapy is better than getting mad on youtube.

Don't worry I am huge fan of all of you; not giving anyone any shit. Just perspective. Games like this in order to fully enjoy require a certain mindset as well as quality of development in their own right from the studios making them.
Even if I am personally anti war I still have an appreciation for studying the subject matter I guess hence why realistic war games will always be relevant for me. I agree with your review overall though, the game just needs a bit more development but it's almost there.
I'm glad that they were able to pretty quickly realize that this game is essentially propaganda with how much it praises the US military and ignores any wrongdoings. Well. See u on the next video.
I mean russian developers made a game called Syrian Warfare whilst the war was still ongoing which was obvious propaganda. Was still a fun game with intresting mechanics. I suppose the only way I could find this game contriversal is the fact that the developers focus on foreigners are heroes rather than the Iraqi soldiers that fought to reclaim the city alot of them undoubtely grew up in. I dont mind it too much otherwise though and would just be happy with a game where you get to shoot terrorists. Because at the end of the day defeating the terrorists surely means the civilians of the city will stop getting killed for their beliefs- or lack thereof.
