I tried to repair the shower knobs, the rubber bands were very worn , the standard size did not fit, were too thick and impossible to push in because the manufacturer used some strange size of rubber band. I ended up having to replace the entire insert which was quite expensive, about 20% of the cost of the shower mixer. So much for the standardization of Chinese parts..
Of course, the first thing is size. If it is difficult to get in, you can apply a little cooking oil and it will work.
@@LiuDienNuoc2024 I tried everything with standard size rubber bands. Once I lubricate it and fit it, then it's hard to pull-push. There is no standard size that fits, at least in my city in Europe, they are too loose or too big. Anyway, I solved it in a different way.Thanks .
