I think if he squeezed the last piece of lime with the tool - he may have came out with more juice, than using his hand. Not for sure though. Thanks TB for sharing ALL the tips & tricks, we can use - to 'Stay Tipsy'. ❤😊❤
The Best way to Juice a Lime (or Lemon)? ● Choose a lime or lemon heavy for its size ● Roll it on flat surface with pressure to soften it up without splitting it ● Place in microwave. For a lime: 20-25 seconds on high. For a lemon: 30-35 seconds on high. Be careful removing from the microwave as it my be hot. ● Slice in half. Using a citrus reamer, juice each half completely. Using this method, you will receive every last bit of juice the lime or lemon has to offer. Works Every Time!!😉
Making the cocktail "The Last Word" and using fresh limes. Wanted to find the best way to get the most juice from one. I'm about to try this in 5 minutes. Thank you.
The problem is that they're different limes. The last one is great for serving as a garnish; easy to squeeze for guests. I recommend rolling then squeezing with the tool.
Yeah, thats probably how all these different "best" methods came about was someone did it with an extra juicy lime and thought they were on to something
That last way is so tedious, I wouldn’t even care if I got more juice. Also, isn’t there a varying amount of juice in limes, regardless of similar sizes?
@peter david If the limes weighed more, they should have the appropriate amount of juice. This is just common sense. Unless the rine is absurdly thick.
Not AWFUL but still an inaccurate way of determining the difference in juicing techniques. Given that limes vary in size, it would be far more accurate to use a kitchen scale to get reliable data. The weight of the juice compared to the weight of the whole lime would provide a yield percentage that would be able to better compare these different juicing methods. This would eliminate the size variable between the limes and give a better idea as to which technique produces more juice.

Should have weighed the limes beforehand, then you would have known if the juice was the same
How do you know he didn't
I really enjoyed watching you squeeze multiple limes sir
Greetings from Suriname. Always learning something from your vids! Thanks for sharing Tipsy.
Very nice. I tried these techniques and found that method #2 worked best for me.

Big fan of you....

Still enjoyed it tho
I took you serious until you said
"Still enjoyed it tho"
Dude you are hilarious
So the lime would have to be the exact same lime to prove your theory good luck with that
I'm lazy definitely gonna stick with first method
All limes are made different. They dont all have the same quantity of juice.
Yeah, thats probably how all these different "best" methods came about was someone did it with an extra juicy lime and thought they were on to something
You should have shown how much juice you get if you put the lime upside down in the juicer.
He already did a while ago
My life has been changed forever an epiphany from the tipsy gods.
Some comments are more sour than these Limes😂

I don't know why but I remind Gas Fring.
call MA NAW in Thai so you can putt lime in warm water before you squeeze it
That last way is so tedious, I wouldn’t even care if I got more juice. Also, isn’t there a varying amount of juice in limes, regardless of similar sizes?
To be fair, you should have used the same size/weight of limes.
It’s not just about the weight, some may weigh more but have lesser juice content.

@@dschulz5647 I disagree….talking from experience, lime weight to juice ratio can be affected by the age of the lime, soil, type etc
Hahahahahahaha 😂 There is a possibility that each lime simply provided less juice!
Is this how all bartender this days?

Why can't I find fresh squeezed lime juice in a grocery/specialty store? SO worth it.
Because you have to squeeze it yourself
