@@yudahel8521 You got the smallest brain 🧠 on the planet earth 🌍. Original Jamaican music 🎶 is Ska before Reggae. Before they came up ⬆️ with Reggae they have to borrowed Africans drums and sounds because Ska rhythm was too fast 💨 and Dancehall came from Reggae. Bob Marley even used our king Haile Selassie’s speech 🎤 to get famous . Listen 🎧 to Bob Marley’s song title War that’s Haile Selassie when he was addressing the League of Nations when Italy 🇮🇹 invaded Ethiopia 🇪🇹 . @Jay Jay Bro the guy is ignorant, Bounty Killa and Bob Marley themselves said it in their interviews that Africans sounds is what created Reggae, so he’s a clown. Jamaica 🇯🇲 is small like a piece of bread 🥖, so Africans have no competitions with them.

The drum in Africa can be found among all black genre but to say its used by the world without giving credit would be false. Anything use by the world is used by the descendants of such people and those said descendant created something unique to themselves. Its appropriation to claim these unique creation as from Africa and even used by Africans and rebranded to be African.

Reggaetón is not bigger than dancehall and they too are African descendants. Reggaetón is streamed more because of the population of the countries is was formed in vs Jamaica and the Caribbean. Reggaeton is literally Dancehall done in another language. What Jamaicans are upset about is that Afrobeat artists uses a lot of Jamaican culture and rebrand it as Afrobeat from Africa. This Affects brand Jamaica, and the Jamaican GDP that depends highly on its culture. Africa was before Jamaica, so its easy to appropriate Jamaica's culture vs Reggaeton who everyone can see is from Jamaica.

Black people are rising to our true consciousness, after physical and spiritual bondage for disrespecting the most high but after the sufferation, things will be reveal to us. So now, we're walking in our path, acknowledging our beauty, look; "the pendulum has swung, Black is in fashion!" Hence the spark in our music again, look at Afro beats, look inna Dancehall music and that doesn't mean just Jamaica, look down inna Trinidad, and Tobago. Nothing like it has happened before, no, not like this. Look how Soca music transcended inna different gear and deserves to be recognized as its own genre. Nevertheless, Babylon fight that, but just look. We must not take this lightly, for our voices will be needed to sound the beautiful trumpet of Jah. We must look for the mass repatriation of all Africans near and far, back to the motherland. For when we see this, we will know that the return of the most high is near. Be not deceived, look not to the sky, but deep within one's self, there, you will find Jah. Africa awaits her children. Light and love my people. Love y'all. Doh she say mi nah tell yuh!

For Dancehall to be such a small genre, from likkle Jamaica has the biggest impact internationally way before Afrobeats, what has happened is that Africa used to play Dancehall and Reggae alot in their continent, their artist mimicked Dancehall, and even are trying to talk patwa, which is now why we have what we have, name an artist other than Davido, Burna Boy, Stonebwoy, Wiz Kid, Shatta Wale, that came out during the time when Mavado and Kartel ah clash, they were none, Jamaica has a huge influence on the music, if I am wrong please name an artist from Africa that was out during Kartel and Mavado clash, the African artist I mentioned came out after the clash, big ups to Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, and Davido who have shown Jamaica respect though, but for the rest of the Afro beat artists, what should happen is, in their interviews and so forth when asked who influenced them name the Jamaican artist, so light can be shined on them as well

They have deviated from the true organic dancehall sound and that's why many are not crossing over into mainstream markets. You can not unify a group of people with Jamaica who envy the cultural influences and feel as though its is being talked about too much on an international level. Those people in the Caribbean support Jamaican culture because it has been ingrained in theirs over time, thus becoming their culture as well, however they dont like Jamaicans nor want to give Jamaica their props. What Jamaica need to do is to take their credit from anyone who appropriate its culture while focusing on themselves. Back in the days, Dancehall was to entertain Jamaicans but it entertain people internationally. We need to stop growing our children to imitate Americans and realize that what we have is gold.
